Hi!! I just started making crosses for family and friends. I had a friend that asked me to do one with a bloom from a plant given to her from her mother that passed away. The plant bloomed rarely and she wanted a bloom preserved. She asked me to add the palm piece from Easter Mass. I purchased from Crafted Elements and added additional flowers. It came out so pretty that many friends have asked me to make one for them. I now have two molds from Crafted Elements and they are truly superior from anything I have bought from online stores or craft stores. I love your crosses!! I am so inspired and I am ready to make more! Thank you and what perfect timing for me to get the email from Shawn with your video. Blessings!!
Thank you Skyler for the instructional video. I am a fan of Crafted Elements and use some of their templates. You have given me some new ideas with the cross mold. Keep up the great work!
Hey Skyler, I was surprised to see you featured in an email from crafted elements. Love the success your channel is having, as you have always had a unique style that makes woodworking even more approachable.
My husband is a Jail and Prison Minister. He always tells the guys when they get out and continue to recover look him up he has one of his hand turned pens for them. After watching this video we talked about making crosses to pass out. It will represent a couple of things he loves wood and their recovery. Thanks for the video it has inspired us.
What an excellent video Skyler! You did a great job breaking down the steps needed to make crosses. You made it very easy to follow and I think people are really going to enjoy this video. I wish there was a video like this two years ago when I first started making crosses! It’s nice that Crafted Elements sent some molds your way.
Looks great. I have been looking for an excuse to get into the epoxy stuff. Great use of small stuff. I have a coffe can of small pine cones from the spruce tree in our front yard.
