Have you ever had to clean out the entire system in the past year? If yes, how easy/hard was it? Is the system traveling with you for salads and herbs on the road? It seems like the little one is more likely to travel....though maybe even the small continuous drain on the batteries might be too much while boondocking....
I clean the Farm out about 2-3 times a year. I found it’s easier to pump the water out then clean it out. It’s big and bulky so it’s a little awkward but not too bad. I actually don’t bring either of them just because the RV jostles a lot while traveling so it probably wouldn’t do well. The little one takes such little electricity that it probably would be fine boondocking. The farm takes a lot more and it takes up a lot of space so wouldn’t work out too well in my 150 square feet lol.
I will give you a 'heads up' on what is coming. The financial and economic system, as it exists now, will not last. The wisest thing to do is to become as self-sufficient as possible. Work with friends, neighbors, family, to help each other to become more self-sufficient. Barter and trade will, at some point, be the dominant way to live, as the monetary system falls apart. Eventually, UBUNTU (aka, Contributionism) communities will begin to become the dominant form of political, social, and economic system on Earth. THAT is the future if Mankind. You are, of course, free to ignore what I am saying. BTW, for UBUNTU/Contributionism communities to work, the members of such communities must be what I call "Spiritually mature". Hence, if you wish to be a part of the future of this planet, you must become, if you are not already, a loving person.
