Pickup Steph Curry Is Scary ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--RVUy3pdOss.html Read the title. Read the description⬇️ Steph Curry before KD didn’t just win 73 games, he was the FIRST EVER unanimous MVP. He was the reason KD joined Golden State. Curry isn’t the same player, HE’S BETTER! He plays selfless and within the team. Nobody has forgotten Curry but with KD on the team, the free flowing, loveable, unstoppable offense with Curry leading it has. Golden State doesn’t play this way anymore. They play for whoever has the open shot, ball movement, spacing etc. There’s a reason people say they miss this Stephen Curry. How many more MVP’s would’ve he won if KD didn’t join? Thanks for watching. Subscribe if you haven’t!
Milk2Percent TTV They only blew that lead due to injuries and a suspension. Even after all that, they still took the cavs to game 7 down to the last possesion
Jello Jelly just gotta say it injuries have made him not as good and exposive as he was he was the best player on earth in the 2016 season now hes not even in some peoples top 5
No Steph improved his percentages from everywhere except the 3-pt line. The dude is also a better defender and passer now. He's still just as good but you don't see him dominate as much because he is sharing the ball with another historic 30 point scorer.
And as good as Durant is, and he is really good.. Let's not get it twisted. He needed Curry far more than Curry needed him. There was a better chance that Curry got another ring than Durant getting any rings playing with Russ
Gj Lipana see i didnt like basketball i was a football person most of my life but i saw curry 54 point game vs the knicks and i was amazed to see someone so good bc the only people i knew who played were KD, Lebron, MJ and thats bc of there shoes i never watch basketball but curry is the only reason why i play basketball.
That game against the Spurs was one of his most underrated games. 73-9 season on the line and he also played terrible against San Antonio all season and when they needed him to step up against them, he did.
You mean when it was all eyes on him to perform, I know what you mean. I still think he's the best player on that team, idk why KD went there (I know he went there for the rings).
Man I miss this Curry 😢 People live in the moment so much and forget how impactful this guy was to his team. Whether he was hitting or missing shots he was still the most important player on the floor. FUN FACT: STEPHEN CURRY WAS DOUBLED 40 TIMES IN THE FINALS AND KD WAS DOUBLED 7.
BasketBallTruth based off of hoop heads who dont keep you company way over there in your region of the autism spectrum and who also have eyes that function properly
BasketBallTruth for one he’s the best player in the warriors tbh he’s the best player in the league kd better scorer defender curry has a better 3.curry a top 5 player in the nba everybody knows kd and bron are the 2 best players curry been allstar level for 5years kd was averaging 30 pts got his team to the playoffs was an all star and was 2nd and mvp voting and won his 1st scoring title all in his 3rd year
Darkswaggboss That was a shit argument. Someone is always going to have to be the best player on any team. No team can have two Batmans, there always has to be a Robin. With that being said, Curry is clearly selfless, he sacrificed his own role to allow KD to be the player he was on OKC. Next, why the fuck are you mentioning who’s had better impact in the NBA quicker. That shit does not matter. Tyreke Evans played at an all-star level as soon as he entered the league. Blake Griffin has too... are they better than Curry???
Before i watch this, i just want to say thank you for making this video and reminding everyone that at one point, STEPH CURRY was the BEST PLAYER in basketball. He was on a level higher than everyone, he entered a focus and a zone that we’ve never seen before. and what’s crazy is that he’s still as good if not better, but it gets overlooked by sharing the spot with KD
They only won 2015 because every team they faced had a important player injured even the finals they beat Lebron in 6 games when Bron had nobody without Kd y’all never gonna beat a healthy playoff team with Kd y’all can just accept he’s the franchise and curry is the sidekick
Curry made me love basketball! I’m no bandwagon fan. I’m a Warriors fan before KD. It annoys me that I can’t watch THIS Curry, as he plays second fiddle to iso KD, even though KD is the better player. This Steph was what made Golden State, GOLDEN, and he’s the most beautiful player to watch, he plays like a kid at the park!
Waves real talk. And although I understand your frustration, I try to appreciate the fact that a true Superstar is so unselfish that he can play second fiddle and even third if Klay gets hot. How many in the history of the game have been like that?
Me too. He is the reason I love Basketball. He epitomises the term clutch. Curry brought back my love for the NBA again. Haven't watched since MJ was killing it when I was a kid.
A lot of KD burner accounts in here. KD needed Curry to beat LeBron. KD blew a 3-1 lead to Curry. KD joined Curry. Curry doesn’t need KD like KD needs Curry. All facts.
Mike Warren lmao wtf yu talking about? Curry needed kd to be lebron if you dint remember this team giving up a 3-1 series lead 😂 lmfao. Without kd they wouldnt be back to back champions.. this team in the highlights is the team that lost a 3-1 lead to LeBron... withiut KD they dont even make the finals this past year your trippin 😂 rockets woulda raaan through warriors without kd bro
Raul Slaggings First off, KD didnt even make to the finals, second, and I dont care what you say, Curry was playing at 70% which was confirmed by the Warriors medical staff before the finals, not to mention Iguodala and Barnes who weren't 100%, put that together with Draywmonds suspension, and Currys ejection, and this COULD'VE been over in 6 games, but the Cavs still took 7 games to beat this team. Personally I think it would've been very different if both teams were fully healthy.
Eli Sw dude wtf are you talking about dumbass Kd went to finals against miami bro shows you only starter watching when warriors started getting good... Excuses... Excuses... Excuses... lmao, 3-1 lead blown.. They dont win the next 2 without KD 😂 if kd never joined the cavs woulda won back to back.
Dan Smith Bogut (the warriors defensive anchor) was injured that series. They also suspended draymond (another defensive anchor). I say Cavs got the 2015 finals and warriors got the 2016 if no injuries and suspensions.
Yup gsw got totally screwed in the finals that year(phantom calls, the b.s. goaltending no call, the b.s. late suspension) the NBA handed lbj that ring #facts
Players like KD and Lebron work to perfect a game that has already been established which is needed. But Curry is a game changer who, like MJ, forces the game to evolve.
@@Wowimhungry9 They still are as good if not better...they just don't have to have those insane performances as often because Durant is there and can take the load off their shoulders many nights
That Spurs game was pretty hype. The Warriors still had a 33 game losing streak in San Antonio back then and had to play them on the back end of a back to back
Don't forget that the Spurs were 40-0 this season at home before this game. Such a high stakes game, GSW for best record after 81 games and SAS for being flawless at home for a season.
Former warrior Andrew Bogut: 💯 Been saying this for years. No other superstar in the NBA would be humble enough to allow another superstar on his team to take some of the spotlight, w/o any adjustment periods or growing pains leading to a wrestle for the reins. Such an underated part of who @stephencurry is. -via twitter
jc light no... lol. dont let your nostalgia goggles cloud your vision. This curry was on his way to being a top 5 point guard ever. He was the greatest shooter to ever live. His handles were top 2 in the league. Passing was among the best in the league. Wade was great in his prime. Steph curry was just on another level for some time.
+jc light No he wasn't. I respect Wade ardently, but Curry was a back to back mvp, with one unanimous, and certainly one of the most dominant point guards I ever seen in basketball. Wade was great, but he was never, not even once, put into the conversation of being the best player in the league. During 15-16 season, Curry was almost crowed as the new king until the final historical collapse.
jc light wade was by himself he NEEDED superstars to come to his team as u can see after they all left or retired wade left Miami rip for him hes back there now
Sometimes I watch these kind of videos and ask myself how in the world a human athlete can possess such great mechanics in a single sport. Some of these shots are just inhuman.
I enjoyed the Warriors regular season then, more than I do the post season now. Every game was exciting. Steph was always breaking some kind of record. He was always doing some Harlem Globetrotters type stuff. Every game was a treat to look forward to. Now its just the short somewhat boring play offs.
this what the haters try to forget smh. This man gets so much hate for winning its dumb. Props for making this and this not even half of the amazing things he done
His unanimous mvp season it looked like he played way more relaxed and he played so smoothly. Now it looks like he rushes it but its honestly cause kd messed up the whole flow. Hopefully we get mvp steph back
WAS WAITING FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS. CURRY DIDNT NEED KD.....KD NEEDS CURRY! THIS WAS THE BEST TEAM EVER, CURRY WOULD WIN MORE MVPS IF KD DIDNT JOIN HIS TEAM!!!!!
dude the warriors never truly beat the cavs. The first time Kevin Love was out at the start of the playoffs. The 2nd on Cavs won. #rd one Kd was a snake. The 4th one was JR Smith, KD the snake, and literally no one but THE GREATEST PLAYER OF THIS GENERATION in the 4th.
Dominic nyuon the current rockets team wouldn't exist had kd not joined. Remember, the gm said himself, they built the team out of an obsession to beat the warriors.
Best player in the league Most skilled player in the league Highest basketball IQ in the league Most effortless Most efficient Most impactful #MammaThereGoesThatMan
"Forgotten" Forgotten by who 😂😂😂 the media ?? Lol trust me Curry isn't forgotten. He's lead them in scoring +-/on off rating for the past 2 years. You people just follow what the media says for conformation. Steph has been even better as of late.
MM D Exactly the media is dangerous. This is the same media who consistently ranks Kawhi Leonard above Curry, when Kawhi only has one year scoring 22ppg. 🤮🤮🤮
This video isn’t to say we forgot about Curry being a clutch player. This makes us remember why Golden State became the best. Durant lost to Curry and joined him. Curry would’ve won 3 straight MVP’s. I want KD to leave so we can see this Curry. Like if you agree! Thanks for the likes guys
Yeah i mean steph curry might mean the most talent but hes not even the leader of the team draymond is he needs to learn how to not step down driving me crazy
Steph was an animal. It used to be popular to love curry, I remember just about every kid wanted to be him and everyone was always talking about him. Now it’s popular to hate curry
Lanky Boi I don't think so cause kd takes away from curry being the leader and hitting those crazy shots. Also we already know no team in the league has a chance to beat them rn so that makes it less entertaining
Rafael Mertin this aint golf bro. Em commentators had me sleepin while curry making insane shots. And yes I rather hear bangs and breen showing unbiased excitement
FGL Buckeye How many rings does he have? How many Western Conference Champs pennants does the Thunder have? I made that statement because Curry does more for his team than Westbrook does for the Thunder. Russ is mainly concerned about personal stats.
UbiFire??? How are they not real? If he passes to someone and they score it's an assist. But that is only a small part of MVP; he is a valuable asset to him team, he is a feared shooter that demands double-teams, which leave other players open and guess what? Another assist?
aidan2._.4ball yea but he is still the same player. That may have cost us the championship along with some other stuff in 2016 but that injury isnt the reason he isnt doing all this
When you watch Curry’s unanimous mvp highlights, you’ll remember why he had so much hype. He was taking stupid pull up, contested 30 footers and he was making them with ease. We all expected him to start missing at some point but he literally never did, and we all were like “welp, I guess this is just steph curry now”
I love my Warriors. I was a fan when they were at the bottom of the barrel back in the early 80's, I still cheered them on all these years and it finally feels good to be a NBA Champion!!!!
LoftyXsWaGX34 yea that and he’s still ballin to this day, he may average 10 points less but still is the greatest shooter of all time and a HOF player forsure
This really just had me crying I've witnessed this whole evolution this man's game is magic. When it's all said and done he will go down as the best shooting point guard if not best point guard ever
This man is the main reason I started watching basketball again and I’m not even a GSW fan. I’m from Philly so obviously Sixers. Curry is the most exciting player I’ve ever seen. Curry and Iverson.
There's a reason this team won 33 straight and warriors now haven't durant makes curry job easier but he messes up that movement they once had I don't see it no more there's no doubt in my mind if durant was not on this team curry would prob avg 35 easily
H MONEY not true they would have a better bench and curry and Klay can shoot more especially if there not injured they win last year in six games just cuz kyrie clutch
DUBALLER lmao curry didn’t carry shit kd carried him again kd hit the dagger and had 34 and scored the most in a wcf in history while averaging 32 pts so stfu
In my opinion, Steph is the 2nd best player in the league right now. He's better than Harden for obvious reasons. He's better than AD just because he's better than AD. He's better than Durant because he draws every SINGLE double team as soon as he crosses half court. The only reason Durant has better stats is because Curry makes it easy for him. His gravity draws a double team to leave KD wide open or put on a midget to iso.
I still believe if not for Steph’s knee sprain in the 2016 playoffs along with Draymond Green’s suspension, the Warriors would be in the mix of the first 4peat since the 60s Celtics. However 3 out of 4 is not bad but isn’t legendary.
They could have won the 2016 finals but idk about 2017 and 2018 without KD (i am pretty sure KD wouldn't have joined the warriors if they won the 2016 championship)
Idol Mac what? That's makes no sense. They clearly would have won 2016 it wasn't draymond Green suspension and Bogut injury, nevermind the other injuries. Why would they lose 2017? What? That are no sense. If anything, they would have been even harder to beat. Draymond was having big games late in the season and in the playoffs.
This man is so great to watch, he got some clutch in him aswell everytime you watch him, or he is making an insane shot, some sick dribbling or one in a lifetime game winners.
Best point guard ever to play the game absolutely is a game changer in every aspect of the game there will never be a player more fun to watch then this man wow .
KD is a good 1 on 1 player. NBA is a team game, I dont get how people argue durants better than Curry, if u clearly watch the games, Curry is the best player on that team and 2nd best imo in the NBA right now
S G exactly. he impacts the game no matter how badly he seems to play. like in game 3 of the finals. he shot awfully but still played very well, and impacted the game a lot. They robbed him of his MVP.
curry is better at following the system they have. The system was literally designed to get either curry or klay an open shot. KD, however, doesnt utilize that, and sticks to iso plays, then either drives and lays it in, or pulls up for a contested jumper. Plus KD is better defensively
If anyone says KD is better than curry they'll have to STFU after this video. His playing style and free-flow offense was the greatest i've ever seen, and their system rivaled th 2014 spurs dynamic. This is the guy who made KD join warriors, let us not forget him, the same way that most forgot that wade was the reason LeBron joined south beach. Anytime, their moments are called upon they rise to the occasion, thereby establishing themselves as the real mvp in the team regardless of the finals mvp and whatnot. I hope steph doesn't go down like wade, a forgotten legend.
Thank you for pointing that out about Dwade. I don' t think Steph has become a bystander on his own team , like Wade did. I am no longer a Wade fan because Wade just totally bowed down to Lebron James. Wade just stepped totally aside and faded into the woodwork so Lebron James could shine. I lost all respect for Wade. And since then, the great Dwade has never been the same. He willing let Lebron James steal his bright legacy
Yes... Wade did step aside...but not as their leader. Anytime clutch time was in play, or the team needed a play which needed to get them off, Wade nearly always came to the rescue. He WAS and always WILL be Miami's leader. Lebron outshone him only due to Wade's injuries, if that didn't happen he's undoubtedly better than Kobe. Lebron is a transcendent player, one of the GOATs and with his longevity it was only a matter of time that he was going to outshine Wade anyway. I mean LeBron is clearly still the NBA MVP as in best player of the world. So you can't really disrespect either of them.
First kd and now cousins. As a huge curry fan I don’t like this. As much as I want to see warriors win again, I want curry to win MVP more and this makes it harder for him when boogie is a ball dominant player. Miss these old days. Thanks for the video man!
Wardell Tapez But for some reason I trust Bcousin' motives more than I trust Durant. Durant still just doesn't fit to me. Javele fit, West fit, but Durant doesn't. I am still suspect of his motives.Especially, since he bad mouth Steph's partner UA. Durant gave an interview and the interviewer never asked Durant about UA and college ball players. He decided to just interject the statement"No college player wants to play in no UA". And I'm saying to myself, man what are you doing, you don't remember that your teammate, Steph Curry works for UA? Durant didn't have to say anything about UnderArmor. The next day UA's stock fell slightly Durant tries to come off nice, but he can be a snake. He and Lebron James are Nike's 2 highest paid employees. Did yall know 64% of NBA players are signed to Nike. That is almost the entire league, except for Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Also James Harden dropped Nike last year and signed with Adidas. That's why Harden is not getting the foul calls he once got, Nike is punishing him. Nike is the reason why Durant is the only Warrior who gets consistent trips to the free throw line. Nike is also the reason why Steph Curry damn near gets beat to death on the court and the refs do nothing. Because Steph signed with UA
If you're a die hard curry fan.. you will understand everything.. following what his been through.. injury problem..in order for him to stay in the league and lead the GSW for more years, he needs an A's to balance his game and not to be the "SUPERMAN" always. Love Steph, unselfish player .. He is my GOAT.
Back to Back games win 10 3 pointers to me was the most impressive feat stated during this video, my goodness there goes that man, Mark Jackson voice :)!!!
A lot of people riding KD's bandwagon but I'm no fool, I remember whose team this is. The amazing thing is LeBron and Kyrie took this Behemoth team down. Bad news is they got even better while the Cavaliers got worse
