It has to happen, or they have to look elsewhere, or accept they're not good enough. Lebron cannot carry the team in his 21st season, it just ain't happening. And he used to be against managing minutes, but this time, it is a collective decision between him and his team and Lakers staff. Or, Lakers could trade him and get another player to go alongside AD. However, the problem is AD and they need to fix that.

I disagree with Stephen A. Yes AD had a bad game it's because their Coach making the man play Center with two Real Centers sitting on the bench. But y'all bashing AD the man isn't a Center. When the Lakers won the championship AD was playing Power forward. JMagee and Dwight rotated at the Center position. It didn't work last season and it's not going to work this season.

Been a Laker fan my entire life, but not for a second did I believe the hype that they had a chance this year. Top teams are way too loaded this year, Bron can't carry a team by himself to a chip anymore, and AD is unreliable. Nuggets and the Suns are the teams to watch in the West barring injury.

It's actually 6 straight Ls now for the Lakers since they lost against Denver in their last regular season game, barring that was without AD and LeBron and Russ was still there(still they almost beat the Nuggets with just Russ there in that game)... What I find it ironic is that Russ had been torching the Nuggets when he was with the Lakers last season... I believe they are 2-1 against them when he, AD and LeBron was healthy...

They need to stop paying these players so much because that's the problem once these players start receiving the max dollars they start falling off when it comes to hunger to win because in their mind as long as they are considered a star they receive high contracts which means there is no incentive of winning a chip for an organization anymore.
