I mean idk how you expect any team to win that way, bottom line is you need healthy bodies to play basketball lol. Yea the Knicks failed, that's the reality of the situation.. but they got cooked by injuries, there's no other way to look at it. A healthy knicks team beats the Pacers in 6 games max. The Pacers were incredibly fortunate to get to play a Bucks team without Giannis, and without Dame being healthy either... and then they play a Knicks team that is missing 3 starters and has a weak bench. Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart are the reason this series went 7 games, which is commendable, but Josh Hart is supposed to be a bench player, not a starter playing 48 minutes because they have no other option. When I look at the talent the Knicks have, the fact they have 1 bonafied all-star player in Brunson and a borderline star player in Randle... who's been out since like February... and one of the weaker benches in the league... the fact they were 1 game away from the ECF, given their injuries...I frankly think they overachieved. I still think, even when healthy, that they're 1 piece away from being a true contender or if they don't add 1 more scoring threat, they at least need more bench depth... so idk if you're a Knicks fan, it sucks to lose but this organization is in a much better place than it's been the last 20+ years.

Embiid doesn't deserve sympathy because he's a dirty player and sore loser.

Embiid is always a little hurt, but he wasn't completely hobbled. He still was healthy enough to drop 50. OG could barely walk. Randle was out completely. Robinson was out. Bogi went down completely. Embiid being hurt and still being productive is equivalent to Hart and Brunson being hurt and still balling.
