I like the fact people don't want to get ahead of themselves with Mahomes, but the main argument was going to be his TD/Int ratio. Breaking records w/o any interceptions solidified it for me, so the people still on the hold out on him are salty from a biased opinion.

It is not just the arm. On the scramble TD play he ran around for 45 yards and then threw an absolute rocket 30 yards into a fairly tight window for the TD. Hall of Famer Richard Sherman was left shaking his head on that play.

I agreed with stephen for the first week or two, the massive expectations needed to be tempered, but to suggest he's not the top young quarterback (nevermind not among the top), at this point, is asinine. The mood should still be more restrained than it is from Max, three weeks is three weeks, he's not proven yet, but he's shown more than enough to warrant some serious respect; sustained success in this league, against the opposition the chiefs have faced, is neither accidental nor circumstantial. Mahomes is clearly the future for this organization and should be, at a minimum, a very solid NFL quarterback.
