When i read the article i thought the lawyer was suing the patriots for being negligent about the repetitive head injuries that led to the CTE; not them trying to use the CTE to excuse the murder. Stephen A I think you missed the point. The argument is that CTE was a factor in the aggravation of the issues within Hernandez. If I'm not mistaken, CTE has been shown to be linked to increased violent behavior in people. That's how I understood the lawsuit.
