Russo loves only the NFL, tennis and of course MLB baseball. Mad Dog is Not a huge fan of the other American sports i.e hockey, NBA, etc. Listening to him for 30 years going to back to the show he co-hosted in NYC, I should know. Russo is a much better "fit" than Max and the best replacement since Skip left. I think it's time to make Chris the full time co-host on this Stephen A show.

Strom was among those who accused Russo of being as an out of touch White Male Sports Commentator debating JJ Redick who said NBA Great Bob Cousy was overrated. And Redick saying Cousy played in era of “plumbers and firemen.”

It would be worse. Durant is himself just an import. He's not the Nets guy. He's a mercenary that jumps team to team every few years. Judge was drafted by the Yankees and brought up in their system. Mets going after him would have been like the Yankees stealing Tom Seaver.

Judge was injury prone like a person who has a piano dropped on them is a klutz. Check how he got I jured. They were flukes, not I jury prone type of I juries. STANTON is injury prone, Judge had a couple bad breaks, one on a hit by pitch, and 2 from hard landings on defensive plays. People act like judge kept tweaking a hamstring and like he kept reimbursing himself. That's just not what happened.

@@jasontoussaint1081 well that does change things actually. I never really pay attention to the Yankees so I didn't know it was that much of a problem. I probably would still do the trade considering Jake was just out for a year and we really need some better offense but that does make it less of a no brainer for me.

“Maybe” can go either way, he could be good well into his 30’s. You have no way of gauging whether or not that’s going to happen. I do agree 10 years is too long, I’m sure NY will bump the AAV very high and settle somewhere in 7-8 yrs

@@Jzalar97 I don't know of many 37 year old sluggers that are hitting 40hr, are healthy and can command 35 million a year... 7 year contract max, and the Yankees should pass, let him go get it in san francisco.

@@Jzalar97 yeah, and ask the Angels if that deal worked out for them? Nope. Pujols at Aaron's age was mich better with less injuries I might add. So I'll give you the longevity thing, but Judge is no pujols yet, unless he has another 5 seasons of 300+ average and 50+ homers. Again, he's good, but the Yankee organization is Stacked and the reality is that after this season he may be a depreciating asset. It's a tough call... I juat think that a 37 year old Judge bringing in Stanton numbers getting paid 40 mil a year would be disastrous for the future Yankees.
