Jordan also always had the better team around him in every single Finals he’s made, best coach, best co-star, best sixth man, best rebounder, the Bulls collectively were the best team of the 90s & it wasn’t all because of Jordan, the Bulls won 55 games & came close to making a conference finals WITHOUT MJ… majority of those 90s teams to come out the west were weak compared to the teams of the previous & next generations.. none of the teams Jordan faced in the Finals were as good as: Shaq & Kobe Lakers Showtime Lakers Tim, Manu, TP & Pop Spurs Steph & KD Warriors the list goes on… put those 90s Bulls in the 80s, 2000s or 2010s & I guarentee you they don’t go 6 - 0 in the Finals.

Yeah and no. Cuz if he's going to sit there and talk about how physical the league was in the '80s and '90s We can say that the league was even more physical in the 60s and 70s before they started to change the rules also. So we can say the league got softer and softer? And if we're going say that then the guys in the '60s and the '70s had to endure more and they're the best players ever. In an actuality they had to endure more, the way they traveled, the type of floors theyplayed on, the type of shoes they played in. b But we don't need to go there. We never talk about that. It's like people think basketball started in the 80s and 90s and it didn't. It was the televised and we got to see it. Basketball is the 60s and 70s in television was rare of at all. But we can see clips here and there in today's age. Stephen A said something very funny though. He said that the bad boy pistons tried to take Michael Jordan head off on a night to night basis. I literally watched every series and as many random games I could find of those teams playing and what I noticed is out of all those possessions out of all those minutes out of all those years that they played it's funny that the media show the same seven clips. When you actually watch the game that didn't happen every time. It's crazy how something could be perpetuated in the media so much that people start to believe it but then when you actually go back and watch it you like hold on they didn't even really touch him. No I'm not going to sit here and argue with people about it I just want people to actually go watch every single game of every minute and count how many times they actually try to take his head off It was not every play It wasn't even close to every play. But that's what I thought back then because that was a story told but now watching it is kind of like fabrication. I'm not saying that they didn't try but every single play? that's just not true
@Lakers-nu6wo
@Lakers-nu6wo 2 года назад
@@flawless39 ... I on the other hand watched MJ live drop 63 on Boston and saw Pistons vs Bulls, yep your right, it was more like 12 clips and the rest MJ didnt even get fouled, so the media spun it as usual... when I watched it live as a kid, I was fortunate enough to go to the games, like when Magic hit the baby hook in Boston, I was there, the crazy thing is that I agree with you 100%, change the rules to make it safer now, the skills in todays NBA is mind blowing compared to back then, so I agree with your post

Don’t forget, Adam Silver added the play in just recently to make it easier for Bron to it to the playoff. MJ was authentic in what he accomplished on and off the court which became a blueprint for Bron reason he still plays to this day. Looking for a 6th chip. MJ was cut from his high school team as a sophomore, stayed with his team when they weren’t winning, father was murdered. More like from the bottom to the top. Bron on the other hand, didn’t have any difficulty deciding on his jersey number because all he had to do was use MJ’s number, profited millions from the company(Nike) MJ turned into an empire, remade MJ’s space jam and when he couldn’t win, he joined forces to create a super team which allowed him to make it to the finals many years in a row.

Not only did Lebron join a top 4 superstar in Wade, but Wade was already a champion. So Lebron had a championship teammate that could show him the way. Jordan didn’t have a championship teammate when he started winning rings. Jordan had to figure it out on his own and people appreciate that journey more. When people talk about the competition Lebron beat, they always focus on who he faced in the Finals but they never talk about who he faced leading up to the Finals. In the years Jordan won a championship, Jordan had to go through Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Rodman, Patrick Ewing, Penny, Shaq, Mourning, & Miller just to get to the Finals . When Bron was at his peak, he was going through guys like young Paul George, Demar Derozan, & Millsap with the Hawks in order to get to the Finals. The comparison of competition in the East is laughable. The best East team Lebron beat in route to a championship was the 2012 Celtics when all of the big three were in their mid thirties.

All the chips fell pretty much perfectly for Jordan when he hit his prime. He got Scottie, he got Phil Jackson, got a supporting cast, the pistons got old and magic and bird were done cuz of injury. Lebron got drafted into a horrible team with a horrible front office. And because he was so good they couldn’t even get any decent draft picks and with the poor roster it meant they had next to no assets to make trades. His time in Cleveland was almost a complete waste. In Miami Wade and bosh started to show fall off after 2013 mainly due to injury which meant that they only really got 3 great years together. 2015 they probably would’ve beaten the warriors if not for injury. And then he went head to head with the best team ever assembled after losing his best teammate. Not to mention the immense pressure he had coming into the league and the social media era. The only real argument for Jordan’s road being harder is “That 90s defence” while being more aggressive and physical was way different in other ways which still made it easier to score for example they couldn’t even run zone defences back then meaning it was also illegal for big men to stand in the post without guarding someone which made it a lot easier for wings to get to the rim.

He was the anchor of their defense and multiple defensive player of the year. LeBron couldnt beat boston and orlando until he transferred to south beach to form a super team. after those teams, there were no real threat in the eastern conference. getting to the finals year after year with a stack team doesnt really mean anything when you have the most talent in your favor. Jordan meanwhile played in a more competitive eastern conference. has beaten more 60+ win team than Lebron. Expansion or not, nba will always have teams that suck. That's when ball chuckers became prolific, such as one Kobe Bryant. When Kevin Durant got into the league, he was the highest fouled against player in NBA history cause he's simply drive the lane and guys would touch him and he goes to the line. That's why every freaking time lebron goes to the lane like a freight truck and his wrist gets tapped and it's a no call he freaks out. This NBA is a joke.
