As a cowboys fan, I’ve said it before the season started. The only team that scares me is the 49ers, but win or lose I’ll be happy if the cowboys can at least get to the nfc championship because this season does feel different. Anything less than that will feel like a major disappointment.

The Eagles were 10-1 before their loss against the 49ers which is an understandable loss against arguably the best team in the NFL and now they lose against a RED HOT Cowboys team who have now won 15 straight home games which is also understandable. As far as the Eagles turning the ball over, the Cowboys have been forcing turnovers all season!! It’s not a knock on the Eagles as much as it is a credit to how great the Cowboys defense has been playing for the past 2 years… The Eagles are still a great team but the Cowboys prevailed. It’s not a decent by the Eagles, it’s that the Eagles are losing to very good football teams. In past years the Cowboys have been good, but that have always been lacking that one thing that gets them over the edge and for the first time I think they finally have it. What separates the Super Bowl contenders from the good teams is the ability to have a bad week and still win. Last week Dallas defense gave up 35 points similar to the 42 they gave up to the 49ers, the only difference is this time the offense picked them up scoring 41 to win. Then against the Eagles the offense didn’t have a great game only scoring 3 TDs but the defense stepped up and held the Eagles offense to just 2 field goals. If Dallas keeps playing like this they are going to be a very scary team to play down the stretch

It’s funny. When any other team wins, and they talk the talk. Nobody tells them to keep that energy. The Cowboys beat a team, that everyone picked to win the division, and now suddenly it’s “keep that same energy”. Bruh, it’s easy to tell who’s got a bias and who doesn’t. Lol

All I can say is the 49ers are a great team. The Eagles are a great team. Might have some difficulties but a great team. All these talking heads that already have the 49ers winning the SB but they seem to forget one thing. Any given Sunday. I remember an undefeated Patriots team heading into the SB only to lose to the NY Giants that barely made the playoffs that year. When it comes to sports nothing is etched in stone.

Philly has been pretty rough all year, and I thought our cordinators would figure it out at some point, but it still hasn’t happened yet. The biggest losses for us was losing our cordinators from last year

Just give the Cowboys credit man, all year it was “they can’t beat good teams” but they just went beat Philly who’s been on top of the NFC the whole year. It’s far from over given that they have to play at Buffalo, at Miami, and then are home vs the Lions, but if this wasn’t an impressive win for the Cowboys I don’t know what is.

The Eagles were getting exposed way before they played the 49ers and yes they won but they barely won coming from behind and winning by a few points no major blowouts so for them to go back to the superbowl is gonna take a miracle

I know players don’t really listen to media but I hope the Eagles heard what Ryan Clark said; that’s exactly what a player needs to hear to light a fire in you for the playoffs.

As a Cowboys' fan - they make a good point. Great win, but doing this on the road is a major hurdle. IF they can grab wins against Buffalo and Miami then we can start talking about the potential of a playoff run. For those of us that have endured nearly 30 years of (a lot of great regular seasons), but nothing in the playoffs, it is not hard to be pessimistic with the current situation.

I've been saying Philly isn't the same teams as last year and its not because I'm a Niners fan. They don't run the ball and that defense isn't in the top 3 this year. That defense ain't even top 20. I knew my Niners would win but i wasn't expecting that kind of blowout

As a cowboys fan for my whole life. I feel like we live and die by turnovers. If we can keep being hungry for the ball on the defensive side of the ball, we can win the Super Bowl. I just feel like it’s not sustainable throughout the playoffs. I have a feeling we win a playoff game and lose to the eagles or the niners depending on where we end up in the playoff picture. If we can win the 1 or 2 seed I believe we can make the NFC championship game. But at home or away the Niners are just too complete of a football team. It could be closer than it was before, but Niners are just too good everywhere. I hope I’m wrong

This was a great game for Dak and the Cowboys but to me I think this is more on Philly than it’s about the cowboys. Philly is self destructing and I think Cowboys play a lot better at home. Cowboys schedule is set up good for them to prove if they are contenders but if they happen to make it through this unscathed then they will be battle tested and ready for the playoffs. The Niners are better because of the head to head but the Cowboys were playing a more conservative offense and were still trying to figure out their defensive scheme without Diggs. Right now the Niners are a head above but can we all just take the time to realize they can be beat. They do have 3 losses on their schedule.
