@nowand beyond IG u can say that, since his was in a playoff game, so it meant more. I just liked stephs more because they had an option to call timeout, but he just didn't, and he coulda got much closer but he decided to shoot it out that far
well, no one expected him to shoot, if he got closer the defense would have tried to stop him, and in a interview he said that he had already nailed 11 3 shoots so he was confident
We will never see THIS on a basketball court again. Ever. The work this man has put in, his amazing muscle memory. The greatest shooter to pull up, off the dribble, off screens. Whatever the case. His constant movement without the ball. His nonchalant 30-35 footers like it’s a free throw. Amazing stuff. Never gets old. I can watch this everyday and still wonder how this is humanly possible.
People say Harden gets fouls because he had no space to land after shooting the shot. Well if his legs tuck out a lot after shooting of course he doesn't have space to land. Curry doesn't get a lot of landing space too though.
Harvarian Wonder your ok its not offensive. He wasn’t showing God the Three he made, he was pretty much thanking God for giving him the talent to splash threes. I know its a little confusing but to sum it up he was thanking God for his Talents that God gave him.
@@derp_impact5781 when i go to my parents house to watch games she hates when he does anything after a shot - even this. She loves when anyone else does it, but hates when he does it smh
I think we should all give praise to God after every shot in basketball no matter winning or losing,if you have zero points or 50+ points, whether your unranked or d1,or the goat of the nba or the bottom bench player,God gave us the gift of life and that's praise worthy enough, just my opinion and two cents💯
Theres alot that wasnt even shown here which is just wow. Hes probably also made just as much half court shots that didnt count as those that did count.
Bro I'm tired of the disrespect. Y'all need to understand that as he is the best and most feared player in the world bar none. As long as this man is in his prime everyone in the NBA is playing in his league.
I’m not necessarily a Curry fan? But bruh. The man is disrespectful with the 3 ball. Half of them he throws up like my 8 year old nephew, with how we keeps falling sideways lol Respect.
...and...Like ALLEN-IVERSON...He Kept ...GETTING BACK UP ...i ain''t afraid of you ...BiG-REDWOOD TREE-...7...footers...i/ll just dribble right ...through you ...
I hate when ppl say he is. Him n kyrie are n competition for best finishers also. They just finish differently. Steph avoids contact, his high layups is an art. Kyrie mastered the backboard with both hands
@@deandrepittman4310 it all comes down to preference imo. They finish so differently and play so different as well, Steph conserves energy by making less, smart and calculated moves for finishing while i think Kyrie just goes like "fuck it i have the handles anyway, i'll just make my man dance and finish"
When you really watch him and his catch and shoot playing style, his skills defy the laws of physics. It’s supernatural. This guy is on a different level.
Ngl he’s better now, Curry is still putting up near 30 with more players around him taking shots away, and he’s doing it with never-before-seen efficiency. He’s getting better with age, and I think he’s at his absolute peak rn. Put him on a team with no help and he might give Wilts 50 PPG season a scare.
He is seriously overlooked in the MVP and maybe even in the GOAT conversation (although the rest of his carrier will determine that). Only very few if any players changed the game like him. He revolutionized the way the game is played. His ball handling is among the best of the league and during some seasons might have been the best. Best overall shooter. Can create for himself and others. His touch is unreal. Just look at the crazy layups high of the glass in traffic. He can shoot from anywhere. The "bad shot" category just does not really exist for him. The only thing that keeps him from really being named in the same sentence as Jordan is his numbers. Although you could argue that he could easily average 35+ points per game if he was more selfish. Saying he needed Durant and others is only partially true. You could also make the argument, that he makes it easier for the other all-stars like Klay, but the way he creates for himself and draws in 2+ defenders every position does not really need the benefit from having the other all-stars. Even though it doens't really hurt either.
Curry is barely top 20 of all time, saying he’s in the goat conversation is overstepping a bit. When it comes to value, skill, and impact on the game? Sure, you can make an argument for Steph being top 10 all time. But you have to take into account the team he has around him and the level of skill his opponents have and realize a lot of his accolades come from him having those things. 2015: Curry wins championship against Cavs with no Kyrie or Love and it still took him 6 games 2016: Curry went cold at the worst possible time, choked 3-1 blah blah blah we all know this is his worst moment 2017: Curry plays well in Finals but I mean he had KD so 2018: Again KD takes the spotlight and contrary to the causal opinion he deserved Finals MVP as well Curry is 3-1 in the Finals but his only finals he’s played where the teams were even he lost. He will likely pick up his 4th ring this season with 5 all stars now. Obviously, Curry has been the best player on just two of these teams. He’s been the most valuable on all 5. Curry will always have to be looked at as a player who could never win a championship on an even playing field as the best player on his team (with ease that is, KD and Curry are prolly Tied now) and that will prevent him from ever being considered the GOAT. I do think he’ll finish around 6-10, but putting him in the GOAT conversation right now is just ridiculous.
I get the point you're making, GOAT, is a bit much right now. In a more narrow sense, it's possible. But, I fail to see why playing with all-stars is a problem? I'm not that big of a basketball fan, but how is a team supposed to win it all without another good player to help the star? I'm not sure if that ever happened before. That was not the case with MJ, Kobe, not Lebron, so why is that bad for Steph if that is what you mean? I like this run that the Warriors are on because most of the key pieces were drafted and developed into great players. Also, 2016 was not an even playing field health wise. It's was the opposite of 2015.
@@kaseydaqueen the all-star argument against Steph highlights that KD who is the 2nd best player in the league, makes it a lot easier for the rest of his team including Steph Curry to operate. The GOATS had all-star company, yes, but the fact that a player like Steph shares the stage with another top 10 player of all time in KD is much more magnified to that of MJ/Pippen as MJ produced as the main scorer whilst Curry and KD are sharing more evenly. Same with Bron/Wade where it was obv who was the better one, as well as Kobe/Shaq. TLDR; KD is much more of a factor as a supporting all-star to Curry than other GOATS 'sidekicks
@@chasebrostek2950 your just a hater...that 2015 title they literally came out of nowhere...then won 73 games...imagine if they won that they would have erased mj bulls from history..you basically said the few things haters want to say...😂😂😂
Just Pure Genius at work!! Sharpshooter, Slash Marksman, Slash Basketball Samurai Super Amazing!! GOD ALMIGHTY HAS TRUELY BLESSED OUR BROTHER!! APPRECIATE GREATNESS!! STAY BLESSED MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN JESUS CHRIST ALWAYS!!😁😀
He pushes the limits of human capabilities. Just unreal. Every time I watch his highlights, I think about how much time and effort he's put in practicing to get this great. Mad respect for his work ethic.
Steph Curry is like a kid who got good at one thing and has fun doing it. To him it's just a game and you can see it in the way he plays. He's such an entertaining player to watch even if he's on the opposing team.
He’s got his protege coaching him! I think people have forgotten Steve Kerr!!!! Undoubtedly one of the best sockeye shooters in the league!!! Love watching Curry and those clutches ☝🏾
i know he's been injured most of [2019-2020] season and now that basically all sports are cancelled, I can confidently say I will NEVER get tired of Steph Curry highlights.
He's the reason why I started watching basketball again. That 2nd three against the Clippers is literally the most amazing thing I've seen in all my time watching basketball. Insane. I can't wait to see him break the career 3-point record!
No wonder Andre aigoudalo said in an interview that he prefer to teach his son to shoot like Klay Thompson rather than shoot like Curry, man! Who could shoot like him? With all that deep three’s with those degree of difficulty of his shooting, his the only one, maybe his son in the future!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼😇😇😇
ricaraq vosap Klay’s form looks like the perfected form that every shooter should do. Curry looks individualized for only himself and is very very hard to replicate.
I’ve been trying to find updated highlights of his play for a while now cuz he keeps putting up ridiculous shots and still makes them, awesome to see a brand new compilation of his greatness 👍
The thing about his shot is it's so demoralizing to the opposition. When he's making 35 footers like layups, his opponent is already mentally defeated.
Curry is just one of the players that really humble but a Savage to he makes his opponents disappointed in those last minute shots especially and their fans to when they think he gonna miss! That oracle arena already knows when to get hyped up and I'm not even a gsw fan
As has been shown in many videos, Mr. Curry is even a threat from under the opposition basket. Put pressure on him whenever able, but do not foul him. He has also demonstrated that he can weave in and out of traffic and still get all net. This explains why the Golden State coaching staff are looking to hit the bottle - hair dye!
It's honestly insane how he makes half these shots. The timing and the distance are always so unbelievably off but he always seems to nail it with ease.
Some of the threes were ridiculous, I mean some of the shots looks like he just throw it like a kid and no chance of going in but if it is Steph who does it, you know he can make it. Just scratch your head and ask how!?
Respects and kudos to the magnificent contribution and accolades Mr. Bill Russell garnered and being honored with. His legacy and greatness will be remembered in NBA history. R.I.P.
It's demoralizing to a defense to have someone they can't stop. If someone drives the lane and keeps scoring at the rim it's still frustrating but you know that if you bring an extra defender that you can stop it...but what do you do if you have someone who, WITH CONFIDENCE, can pull up from THE OTHER 3 POINT LINE or HALF COURT and hit the shot? c'mon man. Just ridiculous
What's strange is that nobody can stop Steph. Not LeBron, even Michael Jordan in his prime could maybe stop Steph half the time. Hmm, Mike Tyson in his prime could stop Steph, but that's cheating.
