The editing in the video is incredible, the L cuts and delaying the casting so that it comes as the moves are made instead of as a reaction. Immaculate.
2:13 this has to be the most underrated highlight ever, how have i not seen this before 😂 getting your ankles broken by mason plumlee of all people is so embarrassing
You haven't see it because he steps on Jeff Green's foot trying to recover. He doesn't get shook at all. Most "put on skates" moments are stepping on someone else's foot.
Gotta love watching Manu. His style of play was so unpredictable that it was a blast to watch. And I love that fake Luka did with Gobert. He looked like a little kid shooting from underneath the basket after he psyched out Rudy lmao
@@joshuaoommen4617 Exactly, with just under 2 mins left on the 4th Q. Also can you name the player who made that fake. No right, then there's your answer
The only problem I have with Ginobili is that I had season tickets to the clippers for years, 10 rows back, and I watched him F up the Clippers so many times. Great player
You must not watch a lot of basketball then. In fact.... you're basically saying you've never watched Ben Simmons play a single game of basketball, because he's dunked 556 times in 317 games. If you watched him play even ONCE, you would see him dunk on average 1.75 times per game. Let's say you only watch one game and happen to catch a rare game where he didn't dunk. Fine, whatever. If you had watched even just three games in your entire life, you would have seen him dunk five times. It's fine that you don't know anything about sports.... but don't make the mistake of thinking anyone thinks you're cool or funny for shitting on a professional athlete for something you clearly know nothing about. 😅😅
Imo it's the best fake I ever seen, the literally all 3 fully jumped trying to defend it. That rarely happens you get 3 people commit together even on a shot lol.
I really like the way you edited the audio, its so nice that i can hear the previous clips audio for a couple of seconds even after u cut to the next clip. Flawless
I’m actually surprised they don’t do more fakes in the nba. They can work extremely well well done right but I guess the downside is that the offensive player might fall out of rhythm for the shot or lose the dribble
These are elite players. Even tho these highlights make it look easy and effective it really is hard to do a good fake on an elite defender. Only the best can pull it off
@@pollito3436 exactly. It takes a lot of skill to be able to read the defender and know exactly what move you need to make the play work, all in a split second. Like you said, they make it look easy
@@HDanalis That is true, good point, for some of them anyway. New anticipation. Many of these, however, are as close as you can get to unanticipatable. Examples of what you are saying (not wrt fakes, just D improvement due to cannier and practiced anticipation) would include interception of backdoor and other bounce passes (Princeton O is much less effective than just 25y ago) and intercepts of drive & kick to corner or wing. I wish they had included one time when Peja on the wing with the ball and setting a screen actively waved to his corner teammate to curl out and scrape his man off against Peja and take the three ... and the teammate (his defender crowding up against the curl-out) did not even bother to take jab-step toward Peja but just cut down the baseline for Peja's pass and easy layup. Sounds complex and klutzy but was just so slick.
@@acheeblessyou Manu was such a unique player! And yes definetly a class act. One of the Manu moments that still sticks out the most in my head is him taking out a bat that was loose/stuck inside the att center during a game on halloween. The bats interfering had caused the game to stop. A couple minutes passed and then Manu swatted the thing out of the air as it flew by him. He had to get shots before coming back into the game. Also the first player I saw burst a sneaker off their foot when pivoting (:
Foreal like 90% of these fakes would be passes to no one...no ones even close. You would never catch Bird with something like that. You would try and he would calmly tell you where each of your teammates were instead.
When manu ginobli made the hof ballot people said he was over rated, I think he was a hall of fame player, but played in a very flashy timeline with not as flashy fundamentals. His highlights in this weren’t over the top flashy, but they all worked the same as the flashy ones and the rings prove it.
We appreciate the time it took to edit the audio from each clip leaking into the video of each new clip. Nonstop thrills and entertainment through this video and editing style and we appreciate the extra effort to make a quality video.
Really appreciated the way you faded the commentary from one clip to the next so we got to hear the end of previous commentary while moving into the next clip. Well done.
I had no idea DJ Augustine was still playing wow. He was in college like 20 years ago, and he was really good but there was no way I'd ever have guessed he'd still be playing in the league in the 2020's
:54 If Ben would have done exactly that against Trae & the Hawks, the NBA landscape would look alot different. That single play, is still affecting trades til this day smh.
solid editing....pushing the audio to the end of the thought/sentence but going onto the next video. Works well with how the brain actually processes these highlights one after another well done
