Not so that everyone could see how bad our senior players performed - which, let's be honest, nerves played a big part of the outcome... But to see how genuine Stephen is as a person. This is the NBA MVP retuning to his high school, a small school in Charlotte Nc to hang out, bring the trophy in, and touch base with his roots. Nothing more. As we mentioned before - one of his high school teachers filmed the freehand camera and they have a great relationship. So as a result - what we think you see here is a very candid video of a down to earth guy. Our hope was indeed that you would be smiling the entire time - just as we did on that day. Thanks again.

U don't understand. Some schools just don't have the talent. If u think that's bad, u should've seen my high school. It was like they went and just picked some random kids to play varsity. One game they got beat like 80 something to 8. Idk how that's even possible. Our fans went just to watch the other teams dunk on us (by us I mean my school, I didn't play). I can tell u right now. U put our varsity against those 3 guys and 2 girls and our team would lose. It's BAD.

Steph gets so much hate just because the media talks about him too much (ESPN in particular). But he's so undeserving of it. He's just a genuinely good guy who is a product of hard work and proof that basketball isn't all about athleticism.

Brian Rivera Not really. Compared to the majority of the league's MVPs in the past decade or more, he really isn't. Rarely dunks, not especially fast. Steph's dominance is all result of expert skills, including both his shooting and ball-handling.

The beauty of RU-vid is that you can go ahead and stop watching when you realize it's not what you thought it was and I'm guessing that hopefully happened pretty early on so that you didn't have to waste your time. As soon as I saw the two high school guys bend way down low for their warm up shots I knew they would miss. Why on earth would you need THAT much leg power if you are that close to the basket. Warming up from that close is for warming up your release.
