I love all the tabs, I really need to start doing that! I normally pass right out as soon as my head hits the pillow, but there's a lot of nights I wake up at 3 or 4 am, and can't get back to sleep. I love all the connections in his books. It's crazy how King keeps it all together. I'm still looking forward to reading Dreamcatchers with you:)

I'm glad that the idea of woolgathering reminds folk of me. Although I'll have to leave off reading this King until I've read the Dark Tower books, clearly. Perhaps this will be the one that finally terrifies me - lord knows I can't stand my own insomnia. Great review. :) (Will come back and comment again once I've read the book.)

I don't think Insomnia will be the one to scare you! The Dark Half was scarier I think but you're right in that they're probably overhyped for how scary they are by people!

Wow, I don't remember most of this, must of read this only once! I remember reading it as soon as it was out - and I had not read The Dark Tower at the time. So it must have gone over my head a bit. The Ear paragraph is typical King gruesome :) Will get to it in about 16 months in my big reread of Mr King. Looking forward to it.

Loyd Sleep herbal infusion, soak tea bag in a cup of boiled water for 8 to 10 minutes, guaranteed a good night's sleep. They are selling at LIDL at the moment. I've been avoiding INSOMNIA for years, I'm gonna start reading it soon, I hope I get through it, Great Reading n' Review!😀👍

It's one of my favourite books, I've lost count of the times that I've read it. He does brilliant children as hero's and also elderly folk as well. Dreamcatcher and The girl who loved Tom Gordon are also a couple of my favourites. Needful Things and IT are near the top of my list, as are the Dark Tower series. I have other favourite authors such as H P Lovecraft; M R James; Jack Vance and Tolkien, all in quite different genres.

I absolutely loved this book when I read it, probably about 20 years ago. And yet I haven’t reread it yet. I want to fix that to see if it still stands up for me.
