On today’s ID the Future out of the vault, radio host Michael Medved sits down with bestselling science author Stephen Meyer to discuss the Marvel movie Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Medved isn’t wild about the film, but he uses it as a springboard to dive into what he calls “the madness of the multiverse”-namely, the proposals in physics and cosmology for the idea that our universe is just one of many universes. Meyer explains some of the early motivations among twentieth-century physicists and cosmologists for proposing such an exotic theory. Then he turns to what he says is the main driver for interest in the multiverse in our day-a desire to explain away something that is deeply puzzling on the grounds of atheism: that the laws and constants of physics and chemistry are exquisitely fine tuned for life.

Thank you Dr. Meyer for your outstanding scholarship. God’s blessings my friend 🙏

No matter how much terminology they throw at it and how many definitions of new words they come up with, they can't take credit for the idea, because since the time that Moses was guided by the Holy Spirit to write Genesis, The Lord was, is and will be. (The Alpha and Omega).

Notice how both the multiverse and evolution make great material for comic books and fictional movies, but are patently unobservable in reality.

The infinite multiverse scenario mandates a omnipotent intelligence which can manipulate the laws of physics to create fine tuned universes exists out there somewhere. So there you go ...

Maybe God is aware of all alternative possibilities like an infinite multiverse, but the reality we exist in is what God has made real

Multiverse is the atheistic version of the 'earth sitting on turtles all the way down'. For them it is universes all the way down. Just as nutty.

Ha, ha! That was a great point!

Let's assume that there is an infinite number of universes (which is required to explain evolution given the math). That means that there must be at least 1 civ who knows how to access the other multiverses, right? Infinity requires that. If there is even 1, that means there are an infinite number of those; infinity again. In all those, there is at least 1 where the people are so xenophobic that they dont like the idea of other multiverses and therefore want to destroy them. Again, infinity requires it. If there is even 1 of those the, yet again, there must be an infinity of them. That means there is an infinity of universes with the technology to reach the other multiverses who have the desire to destroy them. Ooops, we're all dead. And the multiverse concept REQUIRES that to be true.

God is not bound by the universe He created. He is not a victim of His own creation. The mind of God is infinite, and He is above the universe of His creation. In the same way that I can change channels on a television, and go from one Internet site to another, so I believe that in the infinite mind of God, he could have created other time/space dimensions. Some of them might have different laws of physics. I will not limit God to the finite constructs of the human intellect.

2 Cor 12:2 I know a man 14 years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or wether out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third heaven. The first sentence in the Bible was/is correct, the universe had a beginning. Believe what you will, is there 4 universe's too?

In the Vedas, particularly in Vedic Cosmology. (written more than 5,000 years ago), it described and explained that there are enumerable universes existing simultaneously. It is compared to the billions and billions of atoms in a human body. The Vedas also described how the universes came into existence that is peculiarly similar to the Big Bang Theory, including Singularity, called Pradhana in the Vedas - an infinitesimal, inert dense point where all the atoms in the universe is stored. The nature of the atom is also explained there and where it gets its perpetual energy. Scientists have not even fully understood our galaxy and there are estimated as 2 trillions of galaxies in our universe alone.

I read the Vedas, there's nothing like that in there. you're making this up ! You think mankind needed another religion and they asked you to invent it?

@@bobdalton2062Really? The Vedas is a vast resources of knowledge and it is said that a lifetime is not enough to read them all and understood. The Vedas is divided into four types - Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yagur Veda and Atharva Vedas. Have you heard of Vedic Cosmology? The Vedic cosmology is part of Srimad Bhagavatam's 5th Canto where multiverse and how they were created, maintained and destroyed are explicitly described. The Vedas have no known human author and the knowledge came from God himself. This is not about manmade religion but knowledge of the Truth. Check it out.

@@bobdalton2062 In terms of Cosmology, the Vedas is the oldest literature to have written about this knowledge in explicit details, that, many modern scientists are finding it plausible and accurate with modern discoveries. They never need trillions of dollars to study cosmology, like the Big Bang Theory, the planetary systems, which was already known to them more than 5,000 years ago. India has the oldest and biggest international higher learning center called Nalanda University in 5th-12th century. It teaches the Vedas, Buddhism, medicine, grammar, philosophy, mathematics, Vedic cosmology, astronomy, etc.
