Stephon Marbury, my 2nd favorite player to watch play in the NBA in the 1990's. It was MJ first and then Marbury 2nd that I liked as my favorite players in the league back then.

Starbury should be in be Hall...but you know what, those know he should be in the Hall. He first ballot, He is NYC Point GOD. 20 and 8. He was the Prototype of 90s PG, Inside, Outside, rebounds, pass, hops. He fucked, but who didn't? he overcame those mistakes and he made it cool to go overseas, for big names. He did it his way. Starbury was the first, I remember, that was thinking about the kids, when pricing those shoes. He along with A.I. lead one of the best comebacks in All Star game history and the last great one. Hall Of Fame from Brooklyn. Marbury!

Him and Iverson in the allstar games was a highlight show. Different style of ball handle compared to now but damn was it good. With all due respect, Marbury had a good career. Not HOF worthy. I went to all those Nets games when he played in NJ. Nobody went to the Meadowlands at that time. Kidd came in with just about the same team and best record in the east the yr after.

The HOF is a joke they let anybody in. If you aren’t a true GOAT you shouldn’t be in it. Shaq, Kobe, mj, AI, Duncan, KG, Barkley, Malone, you should be top 5 of your position all time to be a HOF.

Lets STOP THE MADNESS!!! No doubt SM was a great talent and exciting player with KG but he didnt do anything significant in regular or post season to label him hall of fame. That being said...they did let Penny Hardaway in and he had similar talent in some aspects but he took Magic to Finals which gives him an edge over SM...he didnt win but having an opportunity at the ring is different than never getting opportunity to get it. Barkley lead the Suns to the Finals, he had a long and great career as well as being part of the Dream Team...definite HOFer despite no ring. SM a great talent it just didnt turnout well in the league long term then his move to China and their appreciation for him is noteable but unless we are ready to make more Chinese basketball players HOF then it wont happen.
