Clickers, StepIns or StepOn ! Call it what you want., it’s been around for a long time and never really went away. It's not a concept that is new for Burton Snowboards either. But we decided to take everything we learned with our boots and bindings that are pretty much the best out there and create a new system that is comfortable, convenient and performs at the high level that for me makes it good times.

This really feels like an ad. The boots are comfortable if you have the right feet for the supported boots. If not, they cause hot spots on the toes. There will be more boot options next year. Best to rent and try different boot types before buying. I ski with boarders and one tried these this season. It saved us about 30 seconds per run. It saved him a lot of energy not bending over as much and not sitting down and getting back up.

...so for anyone that is already looking to buy bindings or boots make sure to try this combo out. or else you will pass on it after buying expensive boots or bindings other then these.

i think theyre too pricey and i'd rather have a better board for the cash and connect to the board with regular bindings and boots...i will wait till the Chinese flood the market with cheap copies....cos they will...

@David Farina.....do you think so mate? I wouldn't speculate there's a MASSIVE performance difference between regular strap bindings and this step on system that justifies THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE and it wont make you a better rider. This is just an EASIER way to CONNECT to your board and it might help keep the older generation boarding for longer which can only be a good thing. Big up to Burton for running with this idea and successfully delivering a modern engineered working example, I applaud that .The more options out there the better and it shows that innovation is still ongoing and the gear is only getting better and more reliable. I don't think I'll be ditching my regular boots and bindings any time soon though, that's for sure but I'd still love to give this system a try just to compare the ride. If snowboarding is truly to reach the masses then the prices need to be reasonable not top tier. Burton will obviously be trying to recover some R&D and wages costs with this, so like all new innovations the price is gonna be up there. I think it will get cheaper as time goes on. It may be that some kit snobbery will creep in between the haves and the have not's but not having the latest kit wont stop you getting out there and having fun, which at the end of the day is what its all about. ........shred on dudes.

uhmm...i think you missed my point....i do also think that regoular bindings are pro state of the art (i'll keep shredding my nitro zeros for the season), i'm just complaining that ALL snbrd gear cost too much!

Yes they work in powder. But rented them for the day at winter park the day we had 8" fresh powder. No problem all day.

I like everything about them except the weight. Hopefully next year that can be improved. I'd love to be able to step on instead of bending over to strap in, especially on some crazy mountain peaks in AK ~ faithandaction.net.

the boots and bindings weigh the same as there non step on burton counterparts, they are not heavier

A bit pricey for such a small thing, no? It's not very hard just to strap in... I wouldn't pay 600$ just to save a couple seconds of time..
