I'm trying to become a Bengal breeder. I'm not actually in it for the money. My primary interest is in having a perfected lineage to leave to my children. The problem here is that there seems to be so much gatekeeping. It's like there are a bunch of people who are scared someone is going to come in and take their business.

I am thinking of planning to be a cat breeder when moving into our new home, Having an extra room is nice. I am been a cat care taker at shelter for the last 4 years, having 2 cats as pet at the moment. I love finding home for rescue cats in my shelter, but also please to have pure bred cat to continue beautiful breed cats. i am here is learning to do it right, and glad I came across you. Thank you.

I'm a Siberian cat breeder and have a question. I never mated relatives, but is it okay to mate my quality stud to one of his quality daughter without genetic problems? Would it further enhance the look of the offspring?

How do you keep the male from spraying and how often do you breed the females?

you cant keep the male from spraying. Thats why many male breeding cats spend a not so nice life.

You have to be lucky to get a male that doesn't spray. Usually you keep them outside in pens or in special rooms

Your cats are beautiful 😍 I have 2 british shorthaired females & thinking of getting a male, can I ask does your male cat spray? Do you keep him inside your house with females? I want a boy but dont want him to spray in house & dont really want to keep him in outside housing
