Mesa se ve muy bonita y de madera reciclada, pero no muy práctica por ser muy pesada.

Brilliant design and woodworking skills to make a stunning table. However, though maybe the finished product is supposed to look rustic, I think it would still do that but look more professional and satisfying if the holes were plugged with dows and the cracks filled before a final sanding and varnishing.This would also be far more practical for a table as it would stop food and liquid dropping into the holes and cracks to to look messy (very difficult to clean out) and eventually rot, smell and soak the product.

ho visto che la base di questo video è il recupero delle traversine di legno ferroviarie; Voglio osservare che questo legno subisce prima di essere destinato all'uso specifico di traversine ferroviarie( supporto per i bininari del treno), Subisce dei trattamenti chimici impregnati con sostanze chimiche per impedirne la decomposizione, non molto salutari; Anzi pericolose, perciò fossi in voi avrei evitato di riutilizzare per usi domestico questo legno! Se ne accorgeranno gli utilizzatori di questo tavolo, quando percepiranno gli odori chimici emessi da questo legno! Va bene recuperare questo legno ma assolutamente no non costruirci mobili da interno; con queste tavole si possono benissimo ricostruire antichi portoni di corti medioevali, che sono per la maggior parte messi in opera all'esterno delle abitazioni in luoghi ventilati e non creano nessun problema di inquinamento ambientale all'interno di locali abitati!

You know why you don't see any *round* dinner tables for sale anywhere? Because no one wants them. They're inconvenient. Unless it's a drop sided one, they take up too much space and can't be pushed out of the way. I can only imagine how heavy this table is. What a waste of beautiful wood.
