Ok...link puck to motor head. Link remote to motor head. Calibrate by turning motor at a 45 degree angle and make 2 circles. Calibrate offset. Is that the sequence? When you do the circles do you have to use the remote or pedal or does it steer itself? For the offset are you holding the button down the whole time? Once it finds the offset you’re done? You don’t need to change any settings? Also once it shows offset what do you do...close out the menu somehow or just start using the motor? Sorry for all the questions. Some videos seem to differ. You explained it best, just seeing if I have it down. I’m going to try to calibrate in the morning and it’s going to be dark. I’m trying to make it easier on me. Thanks for your help and keep up the videos.

How do you like the ultrex so far? I bought the new terrova with the link setup and am debating on returning it because I can't run the transducer wire down the shaft because of the lift assist system, actually removed the lift assist and the trolling motor just doesn't function properly without that lift assist, so now just debating what to do... hmm

What shaft length did you go with?! Are you using humminbird graphs?!

Do you have to link the iPilot controller for the foot pedal to work

My remote is saying Motor Error on it when I try to pair it but my spot lock isnt working on the foot pedal either??? I have the touch screen remote.

Nice video. But.....I’m not sure if your fishing partner is asleep or has frozen to death lol. Get that girl a heater. I’m switching from the XI5. Mine will be in this week and it can’t come soon enough. XI5 has been in the shop four times in the last 6 weeks and it goes back tomorrow.

Was very good until right after you drve in 2 circles - You were hitting the remote and really not explaining what and why you were doing with the remote? Also why did you point the motor straight forward after calibration- Kind of lost me on what you were doing there?
