I have the 24v 80lb on a Tracker 175 and I saw this and looked at my remote and it was set on +2 lmao!!! This video could have saved my life...not even kidding.
Last week I got my riptide BT and I link upgrade from from yall. And it was fast shipping and easy to upgrade for everything thank yall. And this weekend I went out 25 miles offshore and the spot lock worked great. The only thing I could tell differently was the trolling motor was running and spin around more. But it stayed dead on. With the regular I pilot wo/ bt and no link it didn't seem to spin around as much. I calibrated the heading sensor maybe thats normal. Thanks

Good video, except I am experiencing the same problem with my 2016/17 ulterra, my remote is similar to yours but not the same button configuration ( not as many buttons ) my up and down buttons are on the side and no "home" button, can't seem to find a "system" page? Any help would be greatly appreciated ....
@@jerrycroner9221 Previous previous terrova you do not have this feature. I called minn kota and asked. I guess the new stuff is pretty good on the old stuff is not as good as the new stuff.
I must have the older terrava. My remote is not like those in video. Does minkota make a upgrade kit for the older motors? Im sure its all in the board in the head and the remote.
Great video.. just purchased a Minn Kota ulterra on the recommendation of my local boat dealer.. but after reading many negative comments, I’m having second thoughts.. did I make a good choice?
It’s not a bad motor. I only recommend them if you actually need the automatic stow and deploy though, because that is where the majority of their issues are.
I've had mine for 3 years with absolutely no problems, except what he covered in this video. I was able to find this on my own but it was frustrating until I did.
my Minn kota wont pair to heading sensor when i turn the heading sensor on the blue light starts flashing but when i push the pairing button it does not beep and then the flashing light on the heading sensor goes out can you help
I assume at this late date you have the problem solved. However, give Minn Kota support a call and they should be able to talk you through it all. I am thinking that first time I had to fiddled with it but finally got it to connect. Humminbird and Minn Kota support has been very helpful on various learning curve of these fancy devices, so they work for us. Good luck!
