Actually , it's Monaco 🇲🇨 whose flag is the most similar to Indonesia 🇮🇩 , basically the differences between them are their sizes , Poland 🇵🇱 is just switched the position of colors
It's more Singapore 🇸🇬 and Monaco. The first resolved the issue by adding a Crescent and stars when the " problem " came up at the UN . Indonesia changed the hue of the red colour . Like one of the women said about lipstick. My question is, what language were you all speaking ? It seemed that everyone understood each other. Apart from the english bits.
I love the girl from Myanmar, she’s not afraid to jump in and defend the others, and she’s not afraid to poke fun at her former colonizer, too 😂 As an Indonesian, I can relate to a few of the stereotypes as well. Being perceived to be lazy and not being punctual, for example, come with the fact that humans who live in a tropical country never have the urgency to be productive or innovative. This is something that we must change and overcome. BTW, Indonesia’s flag 🇮🇩is more similar to Monaco’s 🇲🇨 than to Poland’s 🇵🇱 and we’ve been using this colors since the 13th century during the era of Majapahit Empire.
Many muslims countries had the same lazy tendency, middle east people got whipped by their own monarch to be productive and most of them got public servant jobs automatically

You can find lots of Indonesian people at the Indonesian embassy in Korea who are more knowledgeable and clear in their way of speaking
I'm from Thailand and I like the Myanmar girl a lot! I like how she pointed out about weather is one of the factors of the laziness stereotype(which i think it's kinda true)
Among europeans there is the same stereotype for spanish and southern italian people, also for people from the caribbean. It's 100% what the girl is talking about, the hot climates of those areas makes the body less efficient to cool down and exercise (like heavy or repetitive work that relies in the same set of muscles) can make you sick really fast, that's why people on those areas tend to be more careful since most of them experienced heat strokes in their childhood and don't want to experience it again.
Yes. I really like what she did as both ASEAN sisters. Everyone from the west think we are lazy. Because we tend not to do anything in the afternoon. Because of the hot weather. But we wake up like 3am or 4am to start to work in farm, fishing, in the rural areas, And work more than 1 job in the urban areas. Without even using high technology which the western people has more better technology with less effort. @@luckygirl2674 but the original was red-white stripes instead of bicolor. And i think we should just use that one instead to avoid confusion (or to avoid foreigners to mistook our flag as ripped-off dutch flag, which is not) but simpler flag has its own charm i guess.
Indonesian and Polish flags have the same color and size, but the Polish flag is white and red, and the Indonesian flag is red and white. Meanwhile, Monaco is exactly like Indonesia, but the size of the flag is different and the color of red in Monaco is darker

Poor lady, in Indonesia we have 1300 ethic spread among diverse island. But even through the difference, we still able to communicate using "Bahasa Indonesia" so i can told you it was not a huge problem for us. Also, Indonesia flag are more simmilar to Monaco rather than Poland. Fun fact after Indonesia independence the foreign ministry received a letter from the royal family of Monagesque to confirm about the utilized of their flag. Fortunately the debate don't stay long after the historical trace of the colours "red" and "white" are founded in recently Majapahit kingdon that had've exist in Indonesia. I thought common knowledge about our homeland should be notice by those who stay abroad so that people will know much better about each country 😊

The stereotype from Indonesia is probably famous for two reasons , Jakarta , the capital and for most the people the only city in the country and Bali ( who most of the people think it's a country 😂 )

Talking about stereotypes is difficult but these women handled things quite well and I learned more about their countries and cultures. Thank you, World Friends! Perhaps open discussion is good training that will help all of us to be more aware of existing stereotypes and we might be better able to control our anger. This video also breaks a stereotype about asian people and glasses.
Correction 11:08 she's talking about the flag of Monaco instead of the flag of Poland. the flag of Poland is White and Red while the flag of Indonesia is Red and White. I think the ratio is also different, about the colors I can't tell for certain but i think it's the same I could be wrong though
Actually Indonesian flag right now not influenced by Dutch but from Majapahit Empire (Getah Getih Majapahit). And then, the Central Bureau of Statistics said that ethnic group in Indonesia not about 60 but more than 300 and about 1340 tribes.

while they have different ethical groups in myanmar, in general the population of burmese are bigger than other ethical groups sunch as shan, mon, kachin, kayar, etc. Mon people looks like thai and even their language tone is similar. same as other shan people skins are white and smooth because they live on the mountain like upper country. they have a similar skin like chinese or koreans. kachin and kayar are similar to indonesia, cambodia and vietnam. i think they have more groups but those are as far as i know.
My favorite is Mongia and Myanmar girls. Mongolia girl is stunning and Myanmar girl brave to talk. Anyways, she looks like Korea actress but i didnt know the name
Probably, why the question compares similarity between Indonesian flag with Poland flag instead of Monaco flag is because the influence of countryballs. Usually Poland ball is represented upside down, so it looks like either Indonesian ball or Monaco ball.

South East Asian are generally slower in getting things done, due to the extreme fertile of the soil, everything grow and bear fruit easily, fresh water is abundant. In comparison to countries with 4 seasons, if you dont work, you die in the winter, soil isnt as fertile, and summer is extremely hot and dry Where as most south east asian countries, you can plant anything, and in most cases itll bear fruit.

I’m Korean American that used to substitute teach at public schools in Virginia. I never knew Mongolians before, i remember only once meeting one before. But the county (arlington) I was working in had a large population of Mongolian immigrants, where as fairfax county had lots of Koreans. So my last name is Lee, I introduced myself as Mr.Lee in an ESL class. And immediately a Mongolian students said I was Chinese but not in a friendly way. There were about 4 or 5 Mongolians in this class with him being the only male Mongolian. I didnt find this offensive but I struck me as anti Chinese. As an educator, I found it was my duty to not only teach English but about not judging people based on ethnicity. I said to the class, “first I’m korean American, second there is nothing wrong with being Chinese.” We had a good classroom relationship since then. I would occasionally notice the Mongolians saying something or someone is “Chinese” as a slur sometimes.
Don’t know why Mongolians still have such a chip on the shoulder. Imperial times has been over for so long. Qing dynasty hasn’t existed for over 100 years. Yes they were colonized but the government that did it doesn’t even exist anymore. Are they mad about Inner Mongolia? Most ethnic Mongols don’t even want to live in Mongolia, they are much richer and there’s many more of them. Are they mad about Chinese making money off their coal? Realistic who are they going to sell it to? They are surrounded by China and Russia and Russians don’t want their coal they have plenty of their own. Mongolia is also making a lot of money from it but it’s politicians are so corrupt the money never helps the people, but is it China’s fault Mongolia has corrupt politicians? Sometimes you have to take personal responsibility for your own failures instead of just blaming it on someone else.
I'm starting to think that Mongols might actually be genetically superior. They have better eyesight and the Mongolian girl here is actually really tall. In the olden days, they were a warlike, nomadic people who conquered lands led by Genghis Khan. Don't mess with Mongolians. 😂 🗡️🛡️

Me as a thai i don't think that thai ppl r lazy but there a lot of step in our complicated work systems that v have to go through and especially when u work with the government there are lots of approvals for one work to be done so that is y the works are quite late in sometime

Thanks for the video. I hope the west can learn that there are many Asian countries , not just china and India in Asia. Because you will be surprised all ladies in this videos will be called or classed as Chinese in UK, and it's quite normal here. I tried to explain them most of the time and the majority were humble enough to admit their lack of knowledge about Asian countries and different Asian people, but few 10 % will say like '' no no no , ... u are just different kind of Chinese ... u are all the same ... '' as if we don't exist. So it's almost saying like '' English and Russian are the same thing '' coz they are look alike in our eyes too, but i kept my cool and i didn't lowered my standard for them. Ofcoz we are all one human race, but i still like to be address correctly, rather than Chinese guy, based on looks lol. Imagine, your from England and someone mistaken u as polish and insult you with polish stereotype words, then u tried to explain no no i am from England and they won't listen.... may be u can ignore n walk away but if u face it on daily basic....how annoying will it be? So i want people to respect all ethnic groups and all countries.
