After the carb was dialed in and the final adjustment on timing was made it was time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Still have one exhaust leak to attend to. The engine is a Waukesha SRKR, 517 cubic inch flathead. 125 h.p. and 369 pound feet of torque at 600 ram's. So far we have adjusted the valves, installed a new exhaust system, rebuilt the rear brake chambers, changed the gear oil ( 10 gallons between the tranny, aux tranny and jackshaft) oil change with filter. We had Olsen's gaskets make new oil filter canister gaskets, new distributor installed, andfabricated new spark plug leads . Next we will sort out the wiring under the dash.
