WALLACE ISLAND ANCHORAGE | The best thing about living on a trawler boat is the ability to drop your mooring lines and take your home to a new island location. Here in British Columbia, we have the Gulf Island Marine Park within an hour of us. In this episode, we take Tangaroa to Wallace Island, the home of David Conover who discovered Marilyn Monroe.
We squeeze Tangaroa into a very small Princess Cove and run a stern line to shore. It was a beautiful place to spend the night. We then go for a hike to the old David Conover resort and check out a shack that is COVERED with boat signs. We also find our sign still there!
