People think hugh hrc makes it hard to sharpen, but that's my edge on it. I raised a bur in about 1 minute, and was able to complete the sharpening in under 5 minutes. It's a dream to use, holds an edge for a long time, and is easy to sharpen when it finally does need it. It came very sharp, but after I used it for awhile, I just had to see how it felt on the stones. It was a dream to sharpen just as it was a dream to use.

Ok so i wanted to share a story with you. I sharpened a knife for my son. Old school carbide single blade Case. Anyway… he carries it to work the next day. A coworker asks to borrow it and sliced his thumb to the bone just opening it! My son told me later that day, “Dad you screwed up my knife! It’s too sharp!” So I ask you is there such a thing as too sharp?
