Here some action of the legendary rhythm section STEVE GADD and TONY LEVIN. later on they went to play with Paul Simon, but this is really very early footage! The nice thing is that Tony Williams played with Stan Getz after this concert on the same drumkit!
/ @rubenvanroondrumchannel
Chuck Mangione: Fugelhorn and Rhodes
Gerry Niewood: Saxes
Tony Levin: Bass
Steve Gadd: Drums

Those guys were all at the Eastman School of Music together in the late-1960s. They played in a lot of different school ensembles. Tony was usually playing the acoustic bass. I used to have an old yearbook with photos of Tony Levin and Steve Gadd. I don't remember Chuck in it, but he was around.
