I am also a Mentoring Camp Grad of 2012 and I've been back to his camp once since then to mentor to other young men. Mr. Harvey has accepted me back again this coming summer to be a mentor to another set of young men. It is truly a life changing experience and I've learned so much. Me and Joshua met at the camp and have become best friends ever since. This camp changed are lives in a huge way. Mr. Harvey, Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me and my mother. You've changed our lives in ways we couldn't even imagine. I look forward to seeing you again soon!
First, I don't know Steve Harvey, because I'm not from USA. I saw Steve Harvey in Ellen DeGeneres's video. Then I found many Family Feud's videos on youtube. He is so funny in all that video. Then I found this Steve Harvey channel who gave good advice. This guy is a good man who care about others. Keep up the good job man. Cheers
Thank you so much for this , more men need to step up to the plate. We are loosing too many of our Black Youth (male) to drugs, streets and not to education. Sitting here looking at this I am just crying because I see my boys and the good male figure they need in their lives. Education is the key and some how we have to make it possible for them to finish school and go to college.Education, Education, Education!

I know how u feel. My brother took my son from me while I was in a nursing home doing theraphy for a broken ankle. I lost my child my house my section8 and was homeless bot oh my god showed me grace n mercy. I have forgiven him fir wat he did and he still has my son. Praise God

I have enjoyed Steve Harvey as the host of Family Feud. I know him for his great humor and funny expressions. However, having the opportunity to come to know the other sides of Steve has been a true gift! I have come to respect, admire, appreciate, and love Steve for the exceedingly great man he is.

wish we had camps all over the states like Mr.Harvey's.We have so many young men growing up without fathers. A lot of mother trying to be both.yet it takes a village to raise a child. thank you Steve and Marjorie for creating that village..God bless the Harvey family.

But this 5 young guys became transform into good. Wish until now they are on right direction for good. Telling 1 kid that you believe in them can be a spark that helps them see the possibility for themselves. So many kids are DESPERATE for any kind of positive feedback....be one of the people who takes a risk and tells a child that YOU see possibility in THEM, if they choose to do the work required to make it happen.

Steve is making it happen. I had negative thoughts about Steve at first but those boys are telling him how they really feel about the positive influence they got from Steve during the short time after meeting him. It is awesome that Steve is a man of his word!

I can't stop crying. My son was raised in a nuclear white family. His dad was oblivious; never had conversations with him and worked 7 days a week. I felt a irrational responsibility to see that he became a good man. I brought some fine dads of friends to be around him and they had conversations with him. He is a fine, educated, family man and wonderful dad and husband. I'm so relieved.
