Hey Steve. I can definitely hear the " liquid" in your playing. I wanted to just say that you never got the attention you deserve! You are are really good musician and guitarist, And certainly, obviously one of the best of our era, But i didnt even know that until just recently. ( and i grew up with Mtv back in the 80s ) : / I realize that at that time, it was all just a "show". I love the music from that time though. but its a hard to know to that alot of those bands, including autograph, were just "CREATED" for the show of it and the money.. ( by the record assholes ) For me it was about THE BAND and THE MUSIC.. They didnt want you " stepping on Eddies toes" because he was the "guitar hero" of the 80s.. He was great, but he wasnt the only one.. And the people with the money wanted to make sure they made alot more of it, making Eddie the poster child for Rock guitar... This is one of the reasons the music buissness as it was, fell apart. Anyway, just saw and heard this video and song for the first time rightnow, and i will be checking out all your other music too. " turn up the radio" is still one of my favorite songs from the 80s. And your guitar playing and sounds too! KEEP BEING YOU! ~
@shredder1500 Notice at 1:31 his hand motion for the double strum doesn't look right at all. Have you ever seen the Hammerhead video? Somewhere around 1:22 You'll notice him completely miss the first extreme string bend and he almost misses the timing on the second too. Plus if you ever heard the studio versions of those two you'd hear no difference. I understand that some stuff could have been dubbed, but that tied with his few guitar syncing mistakes makes a strong argument.
