Well done Brother! Nice lesson! Much love to Dusty, Healing and Strength to His Family and friends! Thanking him for All the Joy and entertainment he Gave! Thanks for sharing, Be Well All!
Turn up the radio was in my bands playlist nightly in 1985! Great fun to play, its a classic as far as im concerned. Thanks for the memories & great lesson! Appreciate it LT!
He is a very underrated electric guitarist. So bad. I saw a woman commented that Turn on the radio is a music made by Bon Jovi. LOL. He is one of my favourite 80s guitarists.
Saw this come up this morning and have had to wait all day to be able to watch...that dang "work" stuff sometimes gets in the way. lol I don't know whether to be sad or happy that you found this music through video games. 😂 I guess it doesn't matter how you get there, as long as you get there! Great video! I've been wanting to try playing with tapping, so this gives me a nudge. Okay Leon...you got 2 finger (on one hand) tapping going on...next up...Jeff Watson's 8 finger tapping. 😁
Amazing guy and a long time fan of Steve's playing. He's the reason the 1st piece of my rach was a Chandler rack original tube driver. I can't find the rig rundown section or video part of the reh and may have to see it. Yes you mention his rack. 🤟
I'm late to this awesome video. I've loved Autograph since the first album came out when I was a teen in high skool. All their 80's albums are great. Sign In Please, That's the Stuff & Loud and Clear. Followed by Queen, I can easily say they are my 2nd favourite band of all time.
If nobody has told you Brother Leon...you are a great teacher as well my friend. Love your vids, and Ragdoll as well. Killer content brother. Oh, did I mention that you're a monster player? Peace.
I have a really hard time practicing taps. I have to do them quite slow since I'm not proficient at it, and it sounds like garbage when you do it slow. I feel the notes being tapped with the right hand aren't accurate (their pitch and tone is all weird), but I don't know if it's a me problem or not. Also, during your example I got the sense that the effect relies on speed almost as much as in form.
String mutes help the note ringing out behind your stopped notes. Action and rig setup matter greatly. Otherwise, I don’t think it should sound bad slow.
@@shinjial Others may have strong opinions on fret size. I think it’s secondary to other considerations for me. And fwiw, I practice “all hammer on” and I roll off my guitar volume a bit to roll off some fizziness. Good luck!
