Joni Mitchell did a super version of her song Both Sides Now, with an orchestra lightly in the background. It is what this is to Gypsy. It is so beautiful when beautiful souls get to put what they meant and felt into their creations that get piled upon by others.

The soundtrack has so many SEXY and depressing songs on it.. esp during the sex scenes, but I think it’s a very poor choice to use this song for the title as it doesn’t seem to fit. This whole series is a study in wanting to feel FREE and sexy and alive… and it’s depressing when someone watches it and knows they never QUITE achieved that experience with anyone they met. I feel the same way about Blue is the warmest color as well. Another lesbian movie.. that’s even more depressing because I think many of us want to feel that kind of passion and experience that kind of passion and attraction with somebody else and sometimes we just never find anybody who makes us feel that way or that we feel that strongly about. 😢 blue is the warmest color is much more passionate, and therefore more depressing I could not even watch the whole movie all the way through. I had to watch it and snippets, and I never saw the ending
