Your the big dawg poopies if only more people where like you guys in the world because youse arnt that guy to bitch and moan your a ledgend poopies much love from dan b perth west aus
Man tremaine didn't even give him a compensation? That's rough and kind of shitty. Poopies is honestly the best new cast member. He would fit in perfectly with every previous Jackass movie and show.
He was the stand out for me for sure. It was a great movie but I really think the cast needs to pass the torch and not risk so much. The movie really showed you how the most destructive and brutal stunt is just time itself. The other new members were cool too but Poopies has that real Jackass feel.
Yeah its dickish and sounds dickish but they know what they sign up for and they get injured all the time not saying he doesn't deserve money but its def not guaranteed if they get hurt
This is the first time I’ve seen a really negative self-serving side of Steve-o. He was like trying to damage control the whole time instead of taking any blame. And then when Steve-o was like “there wasn’t really a grounds for suing…” obviously there was when you said you knew Poopies was going to get bit!!! This was the stupidest stunt ever and Steve-O took 0% responsibility, he was on top of the boat in fetal position worried about getting sued or being liable. And the way he was so demanding to put the footage out whether he had discovery channel or Poopies family’s consent. I guarantee you if Poopies would have died Steve-O would have acted the exact same way he did. Lack of genuine concern for others.
Steve-O is a practiced story teller. Whenever Poopies would start talking, he would go off track, so Steve-O kept it linear and I thought he let him talk a lot! Nothing against Poopies either. He's a young dude who hasn't been telling stories for a living for 20 years.
Can't believe I'm saying this but I think Poopies should talk to a lawyer. He's unlikely to ever regain the full range of motion. He definitely deserves his requested "bonus." Yeah, I know it's lame to sue but fuck, he deserves more than a ride on a private jet.
I don't think that's possible. The production team protects themselves by having the talent sign contracts that would be almost impossible to sue unless they can prove intentional malice.
I understand I think a clever attorney could show malice in the process of setting up a wakeboard jump into a constantly meat chummed landing zone full of sharks. Sharks that Steve-O himself said freaked him out and he passed it to Poopies. Don't get me wrong, I know suing is fucking lame but, let's face it, guy will have vast ptsd and physical disabilities for the rest of his life. If McDonald's can be sued and made to pay out cause some dumb ass spilled coffee in their lap and became burned, there has to be some liability in one or both of those production companies somewhere. Whole situation sucks on both ends.
@@tyeauga Some idiot spilled coffee on their lap....you might want to do some reserch. It was an elderly lady and she suffered 3rd degree burns to her inner legs and vagina. Mcdonalds had injured hundreds of people before her but hers was the worst. She only sued because of mounting medical bills. She also was not awarded millions like many claim. She sued for $20000 and wound up with $640,000. They were keeping their coffee at 190 degrees which is way to fucking hot lucky it was not a kid/baby who got it spilled on them. I agree poopies should sue, but stop slandering the poor lady who Mcdonalds fucked over.
@@tyeauga when I went skydiving I had to sign a waiver saying I wouldn't sue on their site no matter what. 99% surethey included my family. But the waiver would be null if my family sued if someone happened to me from say from negligence. the reason why mcdonalds had to pay out was they knew the coffee they made was much hotter than what it should have been and much hotter than say Starbucks makes coffee.
@@dobledekersoulwrekr the Sharks had already cleared by the time he got into the water. And guys like him, those that are trained and paid to save lives, don't worry about acknowledgements. He was doing his job!
@@shawnarnold9972 It's not him bragging, it the dude he saved on a bigger podcast. Some people may do whats called a "shout out" to others who have impacted them somehow
I'm a medic & retired coastie. I just wanted to save Steve-o, you did the right thing. People who think they can "help" only get in the way. In most situations, two people can handle one person in a very bad trauma, even one like this. I have seen a lot worse then what happened to poopie, but he very well could have died had he not had a TQ placed quickly. I hope JA takes a little more risk management in future stunts so no one's life is lost. Love you guys, and I'm proud of where you have came from your past struggles and glad poopie made it.
I dont understand why in so many RU-vid videos people in the comments want all the attention....Just say ATTENTTION! ATTENTION! and we will give you some....
Coastie saved my life when I was 6. Almost drowned and have been terrified of water like deep water ever since. My gym has a pool and I'd love to swim but am too embarrassed to try learn as an almost 40 Yr old! You folk are legends. It's scary how quick even experienced swimmers can get in trouble. And as you know, unlike movies you can't shout for help. It's only because of vigilant lifeguards that people get saved. All the best mate 👍 from 🇮🇪
Damn Steve O casually talking over that “my dads hand got ran over by a train” story wtf!!!! I wanted to hear that story!!!! Steve O is like the Flea market salesman of U tube. Dude got off drugs but is addicted to selling everything now 😂😂😂
You can tell he's still traumatized by it, and likely will be for some time. Moments of the story where he's remembering specific moments you can see the horror creep back into his face.
I watched the video he put up on his own channel and the dude is crying during parts of explaining it, FUCK THAT, poopies was a pro surfer before jackass that’s gonna fuck with him for a while
Ok Mr. Psychiatrist. You sure know exactly what his facial expressions show down to the muscle. You can tell you don’t know what you’re talking about. Dr. Diagnosis here lmao
Steve has a talent for attracting wanna-be therapists to his channel lol. It’s amazing to me that commenters such as yourself think you can see this deep into someone’s psyche via a RU-vid clip only a few minutes long.
@@rustyshack1707 He's very clearly traumatized by it. You don't need to be a psychologist to recognize pain in someone's face. Funny how you're calling others armchair psychologists while telling them theyre wrong for being empathetic yet you havent rebutted a single thing they have said in any intellectual manner. Such blatant projection. Look how desperate you are to start an argument and stroke your frail ego. Pathetic.
What I can appreciate is how supportive Steve-O and the rest of the crew are of Poopies throughout this. He seems like he's really been starting to heal physically and mentally from it to some good degree and has a good backing to keep being himself.
You're wrong. Watch is again, Steve-o made him say on camera the things that would save jackass from getting sued. Steve-o had a script that he needed to get filled and he did it. "Poopies", who we should be calling by his real name, isn't the smartest guy but walked his dumbass into zero compensation. Sad but he needed a lawyer not a Steve-o interview.
I feel like they ride by the live and let live/c'est la vie manifesto, so not sure where legal intervention would be involved on that front. I don't believe they want to capitalize on it in that sense.
Really glad to see they gave that medic props. The biggest thing that stood out to me from that video besides the attack itself was how fast that man dove straight into the frenzy to save Poopies. I think that medic and those rescue divers acting so unbelievably quick definitely saved him from a secondary attack.
Steve-O you should get that medic on the podcast. I'm a paramedic and sometimes do some special event stuff, but that is beyond gnarly, would love to see what he's all about and hear his perspective
The fact that poopies almost died and was not EXTREMELY compensated to the point where he didn’t have to worry about anything for a long time again is pretty sad.
I'm glad you didn't do the original stunt guys. to be honest I think sharks should no longer be a part of a prank movie. I don't want anyone to be killed or mutilated. we love you guys and we don't want to lose any of you.
@@nono-fq1tl I'm really glad that poopies walked away with only the damage he obtained. It's pretty miraculous. We love all of those guys so yeah I think stunts like that should be rarely If ever done.
I was post dtox walking on a beach at twilight is Australia. Guy was knee high in the surf. Saw him fall... Shark came in and took off his leg. .. The sea of blood looked like quicksilver where we dragged him out. It was so surreal. He died with his head in my lap. He kept saying "am I dying" I just lied and told him he'd be OK and to look at me and hold on. It was just so unreal.
Had this same thing happen but with a dude i pulled out of a car wreck kept asking me if he was dying. Luckily he survived but he is paralyzed. Lifes crazy
I'm sorry that happened to you. I was with a child who was sucked into a boat propeller in their final moments and it's just something that never leaves you. We did all we could
Dude, not many know about Poopies shark bite! I literally just learned of it when I clicked on the upload! It's so rad that he's becoming the Steve Austin Million Dollar Man doll! Tremaine is now living his childhood toys in real life! Genius!
@@MercifulExorcist he was telling that shit with details and thoughts like it happened in slow motion and you trying to say he don't remember so that's why Steve o kept interrupting? Fuck out of here with that. I love Steve but he has a real hard time letting people talk and just listening.
Chillest human on earth. Dude is getting bit by a fucking shark but remembers to not pull cause it'll fuck him up and says "alright bro here's my hand"🤣
I've been through a jaw surgery alone while I was abroad and it's an lonely and harrowing experience. I had to go back for a second surgery due to a reorruring infection. So when Poopies says it was the worst time of his life I know exactly what he means. It's not just the physical pain and damage that he'll have to deal with. It's all the mental issues that'll forever stay with him because of the incident.
Oof. I had a jaw surgery last year and I understand that initial panic as soon as you come to. What made mine worse was I was having a serious allergic reaction to the medicine and started spewing blood out of my mouth and nose. I thought I was gonna die. What's worse is that medicine is fairly common so I have to be extremely careful or I might start vomiting blood again. It gives me slight panic attacks to see those meds now too
Pontius was my original favourite honestly when my dad was a bit younger they look identical. But my favourite from the new crew is definitely poopies. 😘
Dude the fact poops apologizes to them for putting them through HIM getting his hand damn near bite off shows how awesome dude he is, and also the fact he didn't get Any extra money is ridiculous
Watched the new movie yesterday, absolute fire 🔥 perfect timing for that movie, totally what I needed!i missed the crew and it was a total reunion that the world needed! And poopie is in real trouble when he’s older, age isn’t going to help that one
I’m happy poopies is ok. I just watched the new jackass movie yesterday and I really liked his introduction to the group. What I don’t understand is no one stopped to say “hey wait a minute…someone’s gonna die here”? These guys absolutely have an idea of what their limits are after doing this over the course of three decades so I guess I don’t understand why he was put in this stunt to begin with? They’re lucky they didn’t lose their friend.
Everyone talking about the negligence in the poopies stunt and all but honestly almost every stunt in jackass can end up this way. They know what they're getting into and in some cases they fully know that there is some possibility of death even but they choose to do the stunt. Nobody complains about it till someone gets seriously hurt. I don't know if you've watched the new movie yet but Knoxville had a debateably way worse injury in terms of long-term effects. In fact he's had multiple horrible injuries that still effect him to this day. Notice how Stevo instantly said "well there's not a lot of grounds to sue", that's because they all know and assume the risks. You can act like you didn't know after the fact but when you sign the contract you're signing the potential for possible death or great bodily harm. It's like skydiving, you don't want to die but thousands per year are willing to assume the risk and sign on the line.
let poopies tell his story! I get that it's your podcast and you're excited but noone could tell the story better then the person it happened to. I know outside looking in point of view helps...
One of my mates' dad went through Stem Cell therapy, to cure some rather bad pains in his shoulder. Supposedly worked well. I hope Poopies has good results from his!
poops is like fucked up from that shit u can see him reliving it,hope he got comped and wasnt like oh it was my fault and let it slid in the name of being a chill guy.
I mean hes broke and so are the other guys the old jackass guys kinda made do the shitiest things to. Idk I got the vibe of well shit your in a jack ass movie be happy you got the chance to be in our presents. Kinda rubbing me the wrong way.
The Jackass guys should rally around and help Poopies in some way. They all knew the risk for every stunt but this is the first real casualty & serious life-altering injury.
This is a good lesson for all watching. Careful who you consider friends. You can tell it is just a good story to stevo. No true compassion for a brother.
I felt so bad for him when I seen it... I thought he would lose it. Made me feel like people were taking advantage of him but I guess this makes me feel slightly better about it
I think its funny how theres been like 10+ jackass/wilboy stunts with sharks and now that someone finally got bit everyones minds just exploded like “how could this happen!” I feel like stevo out of anyone understands this
