I loved the long dark silky shaggy look better but, I must admit he was so adorable with the short hair during frontiers. I was happy when he ditched the mustache though.

As many pictures I've seen of Steve Perry, I noticed he never really dressed like a rock star. Even in Journey's touring days in the 80's he wasn't caught up in the glamour and glitz of it all. He would always just dress like the average. T shirt, Blue jeans and sneakers. To me that always reflected who he was. He was just Steve Perry and I always admired him for just being himself.
