I have loved him since I was 13. I am now 58 and STILL in love! Steve will always and forever be my most favorite of all singers . . .that voice is magical and has a way of just taking me away to another place and hearing him just makes me so very happy!!!

Steve is the most humble and beautiful man! His voice is so soothing and soulful. The accuracy of his tone blows me away. One of the purest emotional, voice,s, Steve Perry will always be a legend in his own right. There will never be another Steve perry, just like they will never be another Whitney Houston, I wish Whitney and Steve could have got together I'm done a song I'm sure it would have been very magical., she had one of the best voices and he still has an awesome voice. Always one of my favorite singers as well as Bobby Hatfield. Both in a class of their own. Would love to hear this live. During Hatfield's day, there was no auto tune just raw, God given talent. Steve's live concerts were just as good or better than his recordings that may or may not have used auto tune. Thank you so much for your music. God Bless.

Aged like fine wine. There's a hint of melancholy in his voice that gives this a haunting quality. It makes me reflect on lovely memories of loves and losses. Not many voices can convey these sentiments so beautifully.

Haunting, poignant, yet wistful... it's like sitting beside, supporting a friend, following their loss. Listening, hearing them reflect upon the love who has passed and left them to grieve, to mourn, yet feel, again, the emotions they shared with their absent one. The lyrics stand out with much of the background instruments stripped away. Strips away our own resolve to withhold our feelings. Very pensive. Makes one drift along remembering, missing our own loved ones.

Love this. This version is really brings the clarity in Steve's voice. He's the only artist I know who stopped singing for as long as he did and come back with an incredible voice still in his 70's.

I was too young for most of the concerts when Steve was in Journey. When I was old enough, he was solo for the most part other than "Trial by Fire". I still wasnt able to go to any concerts of his. Oh what an amazing time that would have been. I would love to go sit and listen to him NOW!!

🥀Beautiful Sad Love Song! I wonder if anyone understands what we've been through. It feels like hell because of loosing our Soulmate to death. Such a beautiful song. Personally, I have enjoyed listening to this stripped down album version more than the original. It has an intimacy to it that reminds me of a soul writing about its travels.
