Can you imagine Steve being on Food stamps, and borrowing money to pay his bills. You just never know what a person has been through in life. God blessed him with that voice, and he used it to make music and people happy. And to make some people Rich. Happy he had success before his Mom passed,so she could see how successful he was and what a good job she did by encouraging him to continue.

Hard to believe his music comes from the same deep voice. He’s very humble and his talent can’t be replaced . Us 80’s girls thought he was hot 🔥😍And of course that voice. I Love his solo music the best. He’s himself on his work ❤️🥰

Thanks for posting this, awesome interview! I love hearing the man behind the voice, behind the music. I don't blame him for going solo. There can be no progress when you're standing still. And Journey was awesome, I love their music, but there were a lot of different personalities in that pot and I think it was probably a very stressful situation for all of them. I don't want SP to reunite with Journey, I just want him to come out with new music.

I'm late in finding this 2 part interview: I LOVE it! As always, he's honest but discreet in his answers. One of my absolute favorite songs of his is Running Alone:: it's too bad so few people know of it and I'm delighted that it's one of his favorites, too. The lyrics are SO good! I've sent them to my nieces & nephews as they begin to reach "adulthood", giving them the message that "it's up to you..." to go your way & determine your own destiny. THANKS for this!

Listen to Steve describe his touring schedule...and people wonder WHY his romantic relationships didn't last?? It was "Circus Life", as Steve would say.

Steve perry should of staying in journey i mean that asian guy doesn't fit the band. Steve perry wrote most of their greatest hits like dont stop believing and we sure don't need anybody to replace him.

As fine as you are it must have been difficult to make true friends. East coast has some quiet places to think!

this is a wow interview. She asked good questions and he was willing to talk and be open. He even touched on having to stop for a while. She let HIM talk and kept quiet. I believe Sherrie was gone by now

Very interesting topic in video, however don't agree on running alone, come on, not when you have so much to offer, of course fear keeps you back from doing a lot things,and you have to put up a lot of fight but sometimes you can't be the only one fighting,......going listen to again over.
