Again, he never fails to impress...his genuine heart, ability to articulate his views which I completely agree with and his humility. Some have described him as arrogant; I just don’t see it. He is confident about how he feels and how he sees the world but that is not arrogance.
I love Steve and his talents.I listen to his songs everyday.His vocal abilities might not be as good as before but I would do anything to have him back into making music again.A truly charismatic and down to earth guy.

Steve perry part was way to short. He should of been given a bigger part of the song. Hell he should of sang the whole thing. No one can sing better than Steve nobody. I miss you Steve. Certainly the idea is that you bring attention to the problem by helping one group or country that needs it and others will be inspired by that generosity and help others and so on. Yet another example of the integrity and smarts real down to earth guy Steve was and still is. Thanks for sharing the interview!
@MJFriend4Life Yes, he did give us the best of him, always 110%, even when he was "under the weather". He's such a class act and so generous: with his fansm charities----alot of people don't know this about him.
Steve is talking from experience because while he was trying to establish his career he also was without food many times and had to subside on welfare and food stamps to get by in addition to an odd job here and there being a 2nd engineer for one or two years and support from his family Unknown about financial support but support nontheless.
I’m a huge Jackson and Steve Perry fan. That We are the World track that Steve was on was so cool. I always wished he and Michael did one song. Two powerhouse vocalists in one Rock song. That would have been sonically different and probably very beautiful

I agree as a fan. I would rather listen to Steve Perry. However, since the point of the whole endeavor was to raise money for the crisis in Africa, going with talents from all genre's was the way to go. The behind the scenes videos are really interesting.
