Steven proves that he is the real deal when it comes to collecting priceless guitars owned by the royalty of the kingdom of the Blues. He demonstrates that he understands that the best way to display these priceless musical artifacts is outdoors on a damp lawn. ...And don't forget kids that Steven Seagal is the guy who taught Jimi Hendrix how to sing like a black man , waaaaay back in 1971. Seagal has some real history behind him. He isn't just all talk.
I've been a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter for over 30 years. Don't waste your cash on expensive guitars. Just practice and play every day. It all comes down to YOU - your commitment, dedication and good taste.
His heritage is in his name. It's a very common Jewish name (he just changed the pronunciation) but he is in fact Jewish and Irish from a middle class family. No gangs or blues players on his porch.
90's movies were some of the BEST in my opinion as far as creativity, taking chances, story telling, unlike everything in 2024 where opening weekend profits is the ONLY goal, which is sad.
Let`s be honest if he wasn`t a movie star those great musicians would have had nothing to do with him. His musicianship is mediocre at best. It would be great to be famous.
yeah...let's be honest...if u would have been him...u still would have done nothing...spend some time in trying to bearly understand what Art is rather than vomit stupid comments on u.t.
I would bet I know how he met and got to play with some of the greats, and it isn't because Segal is great. More like money bought his way in. You left someone out who I would guess is the reason. I also play, since 1969 (Age 5). I have been playing (Poorly) for a very long time. Lived in Mississippi 22 years and have been in every MS Blues joint you can think of and some you can't. Played in a couple. One year I was in Clarksdale at the Blues Festival and went for a night in Ground Zero. Saw this guy play who has been my favorite Delta Blues guitarist since. He is great, ad he has played with all the living greats. Including B.B. King. Me and Morgan Freeman have something in common. I like Ground Zero, he is co-owner of Ground Zero. And both of our favorite Musician is James "Superchiken" Johnson. The guy up on stage with the acrylic guitar, killing it that night was Superchiken Johnson. The next day he was back up there but playing a gas can guitar. Right outside (And up the street) on stage next to the B..B. King Blues Museum, B.B. King was playing. How many of your viewers know who Superchiken Johnson is? Not many I'd guess. Well Steven Segal knowns him. He hired him as a backup guitarist. Segal hired one of the top Delta Blues Guitarists in the nation to be his backup. But Morgan Freeman hired him long before Segal as a regular at Ground Zero. I doubt Segal with his mediocre playing, would have ever been able to get onstage with the greats if not for knowing the right people. The fact that he signed Superchiken Johnson to be his"backup" guitarist, someone that plays about a thousand times better than him, tells me he has been to Ground Zero, likely knows Morgan Freeman, and likely became self ingratiated with those greats through Freeman and Superchiken Johnson. Just my theory. The only way Johnson became his backup was because of big $$$. Johnson is so many levels of talent above Segal they arent even in the same universe. You have Blues questions about Segal, maybe ask James "Superchiken" Johnson, I hear he is not too hard to get hold of.
I live outside Flint Mich. He shows up to a 3-3 basketball tournament before the water crisis and said Flint was where he was born. He said it in papers.
The most intriguing thing about this documentary is trying to figure out if you're being serious, or just brutally sarcastic in a feel- good kind of way. I hope it's the latter...
I want Seagal's Audio Book - Autobiography read by Him I'd buy it I would buy it It would be thee most High-Larious thing ever in the history of everything
He also said in an interview that he is a 7th degree black belt. Which I believe he is, however he said he is still working towards his 8th. Aikido only goes up to 7th. 😂
1 Guitar worth ah million dollars Steven SeaGal!!!🥋 I Grew up PlayinG with These Artist Steven Seal 🥋 I was raised with Yakuza in Japan playing the Blues Steven SeaGal 🥷🎸
@@trashmediausaThank you. It's a really interesting watch. Both humorous and quite sad really that someone with so much still felt the need to be a bit of a Walter Mitty. Deep down he's just seeking love and respect, so the world's response to him in later years probably hit him hard causing his drastic relocation.
THE MOJO BLUES MAN ,HE TAKES THE MEDS CALLED FULLOFSHIT, HE GETS HIS MOJO FROM THE MEDS CALLED FULLOFSHIT LISTINE THAT VOICE NOW WHAT AN ACCENT TELL A STORY WTF 😂😂
The montages of his various claims concerning his lineage and street cred in the blues world was hilarious. Oh, and as a musician he's a really bad joke who no one takes seriously, but $ talks, and all those legends were taking it.
The different ethnic backgrounds thing is funny. Can you really be part Italian, Mohawk, African-American, vaguely Asian and Russian-Mongol and Jewish (which he really is I read somewhere) at the same time? I'm going to claim I'm Uzbek-Tasmanian and part Tuareg from now on, sounds cool.
Well at the end of the day if Segal does have these guitars they are his to do with as he pleases..if he wants to use them for firewood that's his business...and the thing with vintage guitars is if you don't keep them up and take care of them they can become worthless pretty quick like...they would have to be stored in a climate controlled environment and have maintenance done to them...I had a buddy who had a pre CBS Stratocaster and he kept it in a very dry environment and it warped the neck really badly and it separated the fretboard from the neck....😮😮
Didn't Martin Guitars make him a signature D-28 ot OM & called it Mojo Preist!?! As for his collection, if hes bought the things, theyre his l spose? (Im not sticking up for his actions or acting.. definitely not!!). But there's collectors all over the world with famous 'American' guitarists guitars, as long as hes not giving em to Putin & his mates... what do ya do?
@@trashmediausa Not wrong!! Some beautiful guitars he's got (l wonder what BB & others thought of his thumb style?)...hope they're not on a porch in that rough part of Detroit he 'grew up' in!
This is incredible. You can only get his sound and tone, if youve been to the crossroads. He learned from the masters. THIS GUY IS FUCKIN NUTS. Seriously though.....how does this happen????
