Captain Steven Stamkos spoke to the media as part of the Tampa Bay Lightning's Exit Interviews for their 2023-24 NHL Season. #nhl #nhlintrend #regularseason #nhlHighlights
Stamkos needs to remain a Bolt for his entire career. He's a true leader both as a hockey player and as a man. I am proud to be a Lightning fan partly because of how classy Stammer and other leaders on this team are.
ive SEEN STAMKOS ( for more then 6 months BEFORE we got him ! ) and i met him and got his autograph before he played his first game for the team ! he aint going no where !!!
@@adamstevens1204 what are you a goof ? 'seen stamkos' was his promo before he came to the league. also i met him personally before he even played at the event they have before the start of the season which is how i got his autograph.
No one in their right mind wants to go to a team thats clearly in shambles - players are trying to get outta there. Look at Okposo coming to Florida - or even Reinhart - these players want to win, not perpetually miss the playoffs year after year.
Stamkos could teach athletes how to conduct ab=n interview w the media. certainly, my Leafs would benefit from his example. The only exception would be Nylander.
He did take a "discount" on his last deal, but this would be for four years at best. Same with Heddy. Unfortunately hockey doesn't allow front loading deals. Every year is same AVV. Cant pay more upfront and taper down as they age. That's why all the these other pieces have left. I am hopeful, but all good things come to an end.
We're hamstrung by the salary cap. I love Stammer, Kuch, Vassy, Hedman -- but they all come at a huge price. You cannot win a cup with 4 star players and a mixed bag of OK players. It may be time for some of them to move on, especially due to age. For those who want to yell at me, every team goes through a rebuild phase. I'm afraid for the Bolts, its our time. If Stammer goes, we have lots to thank him for him. But it's also Hedman who is up there in age and we can't win with just Kuch and Vassy alone. We need players to stop asking for so much money so we can afford all very good players, not just 3-4 really great players and some farm team players. Its just a fact.
I hope for Steven Stamkos Sakes that he think out side of Tampa it's no secret when there captian is bein snubbed under paid and under appreciated" in a perfect Scenario I would be nice to see Kevin Adams Grow a pair and try to Re gain the Fire power Buffalo Sabres have lost over the years " Stammer would be an ideal Mentor to The Buffalo Sabres and how he Stammer handles the captian postion like a true professional
It's curious: I must have borne witness to three or four different New York Rangers players coming into The Retirement State, were they practically don't even have winter, to play for an NHL community that's hung up on having its hands tied by a salary cap.
