Sadly the vocalising was poor. The intro was bloody awful ....all in all, hugely disappointed with the gig everyone's welcome to their opinion and a love for an artist can sometimes mask poor performance......the venue is the best arena I've ever experienced but the gig was poor!
These artists are older, she's in her 70's. She sounded better obviously when she was younger of course. Their voices change, it's harder to carry the notes, controlled breathing while you sing its harder when you're older. Back up singers, the band, the whole crew is older. Production, sound.... they all try to help make the best show run well. The artist themselves, it's harder on them to do a whole show. She's not lip syncing, she's singing it. This is kinda what you pay for... to still be able to get up on stage and perform for large crowds in your 70's.....I mean come on....at least she feels good enough physically to get up there show after show. All of our great artists are now much older but we should applaud them for taking the time and putting out their energy to come and still entertain us. I think we should appreciate how much time in rehearsals it takes to put on these shows. The whole crew is trying hard to do their best. I think they deserve our love and support for even wanting to continue playing on the road at their age. 😊
