This video, this performance, makes the world a better place. I love everyone on that stage, and one of my life’s regrets is never having seen either band in concert.
Stevie is and was one of a kind never to be duplicated he is and was a soul toucher he made my heart full rip beautiful stevie you are missed and loved ❤
I Love Stevie Ray, I Saw The fabulous Thunderbirds in Atlanta back in the day and they were awesome Stevie and his brother Jimmy are Kick-Ass I hated what happened to Stevie when he was killed in the helicopter crash He was a unique Texas blues 💙 awesome guitarist. He was a true musician that had his own personal battles but was a gifted creative soul. We miss you Stevie God bless you play your guitar in heaven 🙏💙👍
Stevie Ray Vaughan is a GRAND SLAM on this Stage or another stage..Thunderbirds are terrific and Stevie's band is awesome..What legends on this stage..Stevie ..Jimmie And Kim are phenomenal musicians and terrific singers..whether its blue's or Rock they'll flourish onward..RIP Stevie..missing you
SENSATIONAL..Stevie is bringing the house down and it is AWESOME to see Stevie playing with Jimmy as legends they are..The Freebirds are magnificient and Kim is a legendary listen all day and all night..
Stevie Ray Vaughan is great anybody can listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan and identify. He makes you want to move your butt around. That's Texas blues. But the best guitarist on that stage hands down without question, something that would be realized by practicing guitar for 6 months... Is that Jeff Beck is undeniably a master of that instrument and a sound that cannot be duplicated whereas there a lot guys in bar bands that can pull off the Stevie Ray Vaughan tone and style. Jeff Beck just light years beyond and if you study music and music theory for just a little bit even if just for fun just Beck blossoms like a rose revealing unseen wonders. I would argue that Clapton and Page were bigger influences to Stevie Ray Vaughan then Jeff Beck. But Jeff Beck is always the coolest one on stage. Jeff Beck could have been a Stevie Ray Vaughan type of player if he wanted to be but but his palate is just too expansive to commit to this singular basic style of guitar play but Stevie Ray Vaughan could never play like Jeff Beck. RIP Stevie rip Jeff Beck.
I'm an SRV deciple. I have respect for Jimmie. He's a good guitar player & musician. His singing is not bad. I was never a big fan of the T-Birds. Kim Wilson can throw down some pretty good harp sounds but can't sing & his ego makes me cringe. He desperately wants attention & solicits for it at the most inopportune time. All eyes...& ears are on Stevie as he sings the first verse, goes into his Zone, rips into a powerful little solo as if the clown with the hat tricks or anyone else (except Double Trouble) doesnt exist!
