I’ve listened to many very good blues artists and I still like Stevie Ray the best. It’s the way he signs and plays from deep within his soul like only he can. A very special man. I never get tired of SRV. He’s never boring to watch. 🥰🎸❤️
The best I can describe this song is having a Slow stagger, with a drunken but still soulful edge. This song Has a bit of ritardando if you will. He always reminds me of what a good music is.. I never get sick of his playing, he never loses me. He’s gets me listening and zeroed in.
Jason Salazar Joe is missing the soul that Stevie could bring EVERY NIGHT! Nobody has ever been able to touch that. Even Clapton says he was ALWAYS turned on as soon as he walked out on stage.
That tone is just out of this world... I've listened to him daily for the last ten years and it never gets tiring and I still get chills every time I listen to it....the Tone the Feel and the emotion is impossible to put into words. I'm not sure how it was humanly possible TBH. If it doesn't leave you speechless, there's something wrong with you.
Stevie was SO underrated as a singer. He had that sexy raspy voice that speaks the blues. Oh what would have been. He is missed but thanks for the memories Stevie. I'm sweet on you Brother.
Look at the way his whole body kicks into those opening licks. I saw him in a TV interview literally roll his eyes back as he began to play, sitting down with an acoustic. He definitely went into Stevie zone. Loved him so much and still mourn the loss.
We sure MISS YOU Stevie !!! We will always LOVE and THINK of YOU often with the way YOU touched our Hearts. Its a common pass time here to sit by the fire pit for hours listening to the best tunes and skills that has ever been on this planet. Helps to get our minds right from the stresses of life. We hope the angels love you as much as we do!! From East Texas ✌
Thank you all guys, for being together in his memory. Not just memory, his LIFE ALIVE which is still available and collecting new members, I hope, to discover the truly man that HE IS!
chris bradshaw THIS IS WHAT IM SAYING, Steve Ray is ICONIC but Gary Moore was just crazy with the blues. When it comes to a more minor sad blues I prefer Gary Moore> Stevie Ray but they’re both legends 🔥
👍👍👍👍Best number 1 blues player in the world great voice. Great playing of your guitar. Always remember you forever. JUST THINK HOW YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN IN 2020. LOST A GREAT MUSICIAN, AND SINGER, OH HOW YOU COULD PLAY YOUR GUITARS, BEHIND YOUR BACK ON THE FLOOR. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FOREVER AND THE BEST BLUES SINGER AND GUITARIST💛💜🧡💙❤💚💔💔🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I am so glad he got clean. Only God can see the future and we don't know what was ahead for Stevie. He left us this and more. We should be very grateful. I am.
Stevie Ray Vaughan's recordings are still as spine tingling & hair raising as the first note I ever heard him play. His lasting recordings are just as poignant, vivid, refreshing & awe inspiring 25 years after his passing as they were the day they were new. His virtuosity is one of a kind, once in a lifetime, once in all mankind. R. i. p. Stevie...
Quite the performer, man with many musical talents. And swagger before it really ever became a word. Minus any arrogance. Had it all. The whole dang package!!! SRV is the very best!
Words can't express my real true memories of SRV. I was on his tour for a couple years,, right b4 he went away. Hearing him is like I am there again. He is a angel of music.
buddy guy coudlnt hang with albert collins and i love albert king but freddie king was the real king of the 3 kings and srv was miles ahead of all those guys and they will admit it
@@MaileyMcAslan That you for that. I will never forget it. Its still like yesterday for me. I listen to em every day. Not a day goes by I don't think bout em. He was my best friend. We where as close as 2 bug's on a bumper. I kinda can't waite to see em again. We are gonna jam man. We all play guitar. Stevie taught me Everything I know. Though I don't think I am any where near what Stevie can do. But I try. I can play behind my back but its harder to do cause I am gettin' old now. I am 68 now. I am 2 years younger that Stevie. I was 33 when he died. Damn I miss em. August is HELL for us. I hate that month. I love October though. Especially the 3rd. Well thank ya'll.❤️👋✌️🤙🤘👍😁🥰
Ain't That The Truth, Though? I Saw Stevie Often From '85 On & He Always Just Stayed With Me!....I'm Also In AA & Sometimes I Can Almost Hear Him Giving Me A Little Pep Talk Just When I Need It!....Stevie's Warm, Generous Spirit Has Certainly Stuck In My Heart!💞
It must have been so hard for Stevie to go back on stage without his drug habit. He looked nervous...like starting over from scratch. He looked so healthy and played like a boss. Didn't need chemicals, just had to prove it to himself......will always be forever the greatest guitarist .
THE FINEST OF THEM ALL---THE MASTER---THE KING---NONE BETTER. I cried bitter tears when he died ..........but a day STILL hardly ever passes when I don't listen to him or play a SRV riff or two on my guitar............PRIDE AND JOY TO THE WORLD OF BLUES.........YOU ARE THE VERY BEST SRV.
I remember back in the 80's, thinking how lucky we were, to have Stevie, after the loss of Hendrix.....then he was taken away as well! Just think of the songs that never were! The loss between those two are immeasurable!
SRV was one of those special talents that just seemed to be touched by the finger of God. In my book he’s on the list with the likes of Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, etc. there was brilliance in the simplicity, yet as complex as he chose to be. What a presence! I’m wondering if another will come in my lifetime.
No matter how we try to explain with our words what we think of Stevie, try as we may it will never, ever, ever really describe just how phenomenal he was. It cannot really say it the right way. Stevie was in my humble opinion the single greatest guitar player ever. He was on a totally different level. He destroyed all concepts of the blues and even rock. He was the best period.
I ain't gone 'n' give up on love.... Love won't give up on me I ain't gone 'n' give up on love.... Love ain't gone 'n' give up on me Every tear that I've cried.... Only washed away the fear inside Now I, I ain't gone 'n' give up on love
I LOVE reading the comments written about Stevie Ray almost as much as I love Stevie himself! Really, truly, and absolutely Stevie is in a class of his own for so many reasons. I don't think anyone else has left behind a bigger amount of amazing video and audio, both professional and bootlegged, if you cut there career at age 35 yrs, 10 months and 23 days. Does anyone else even come close?
james frady Where? My dad saw him here at the State fair 6 days after his 31st b birthday October 9th of 85. RIP STEVIE I Chat with his childhood friend A guy named rocky athas that grew up in Oak Cliff although I say stevie grew up in Dallas to people cause its a better way to start his story if anybody hasn't heard of him
The first time I ever saw him was so long ago on Austin City Limits and I loved his music ever since . He is so Humble making his Greatness even Higher .
You really get an idea of how loud it must have been in there when at 00:37 he turns up his volume knob and that insane hum of the amps comes through...
Ahhhh, I simply love this man! He plays the best guitar I have ever heard, he plays it and sings from the heart and with such enjoyment and emotion, IMO. His blues are THE perfect music for love making :-)
The more i watch him, the more I see he is the best guitarist that ever lived. Blues guitarist that is. So amazing. you inspire me. i want to be just like you when i complete my guitar journey. Thank you SRV for all that you are.
he learned how to play the guitar on his own. But, the sound and attitude came from some of the greatest blues musicians who recognized the gift within him.
You know about being a loving, humble fella y'all? He thought his brother Jimmy to be better than he, looked up to his brother y'all! Class Act, A rare Texas heart, fellow man!
God why do you have to take the BEST away from us? I would have selfishly loved to watch Stevie age and come into different musical spaces. It would have been amazing I am sure! I am thankful that we got to see the bit of sparkle that we did though. RIP Stevie!
A master of his craft. The world is a better place.

I remember when I found out as a kid listening to his music long after he had passed, that feeling of knowing he was gone I still get it when I listen to him. My parents were devastated when it happened. So much pain knowing what was lost. He was the future of the guitar and of blues music.
Stevie Ray Vaughan a legend that seems never to fade away as long as he plays his guitar in the rhythem and mode he professionally displays to the fans..the greatest guitar player that ever started out a young child and it blossomed into blue's and rock n roll in his young life..Stevie became the greatest guitar player with the legend of Albert King and ole time greats..had a terrific band beside him..Stevie went over the world playing his music..never forgotten..RIP

Such a laid back cat. Looks like he’s hanging out with his friends at his house and then……….a couple of short riffs and a magic Stevie Ray Vaughan absolutely explodes into the song. It’s an amazing transformation from shy Stevie to MONSTER STEVIE! Phenomenal ❤❤
