Even though he rifts continuously (he never plays a line mechanically, rehearsed note for note - never plays the same song the same way twice), there are no misses. Every note is so articulate, played and placed with such precision. Stevie Ray Vaughan is never sloppy, always masterful. Thanks so much for giving him airtime on your site -

People often talk about artists they wish they would have seen live while they still could. Stevie Ray is right near the top of my list. SO much talent!! Double Trouble was fantastic as well. Great reaction as always, Pat!

The tour for this album I was lucky enough to see I believe in 1983 and it's a vivid today as it was then! SRV didn't need a stage show he just crushed it and that was good enough and then some....8).

Reminds me of Larry Bird, in that he's a creative, precise, visionary master-of-all-aspects of his craft giving you a great show every rip & free to seemingly effortlessly create....always seeing to it that all his members get touches....and you better come with your A game & pay attention or you'll get caught slippin'...those kind of people elevate those around them.

Yes. I didn't find out till almost 2 years ago he was the keyboardest during the formation of the Allman Brothers Band before Greg could get back from being in California at the time. Now he has been playing for Joe Bonamassa. The guy can definitely play.
