It's nice to see Stevie at the end having fun trying to speak French and laughing at himself and enjoying the moment. Seemed like such a good guy. I'm glad I got to see him before he passed.
Hard to believe it's been 31 yrs now. He had something special. He's the only Musician I've ever cried over losing. Well, him & don't laugh...Maurice Gibb. 2 completely different genres...but, I just loved em' both. Lol. 😔
She was a good interviewer and talk about a soothing voice! So grateful SRV made it to the other aide of addiction. Not only is he one of the best guitarist to walk the Earth but what a beautiful soul.
They're both fantastic together, Stevie and the interviewer. She was knowledgeable, and showed a genuine interest in SRV as a PERSON, rather than a commodity. RIP.
Yeah she is good interviewer. She seems to be able to build energy during the interview as well. Great charisma from both of them. I'm glad he was able to get clean before his tragic passing. I wonder what his last thought was or if he even had fear...he seems so spiritual and awakened that I would think he would go down with a smile. R.I.P. Stevie Ray Vaughn. You are greatly missed. Please send your spiritual greatness into the heart of genuine musicians.
I Think Stevie ALWAYS WAS A Happy KID (& An ADORABLE One!😉)...& Even @ His Age In This Interview, & Would Have Remained So Into His Older Years! Check Out His Biographical Documentary - Also Available On RU-vid - He Always Had That Same Great Grin & His "I'm Just So Happy To Be Happy" Vibe - Especially When He Was A Kid @ Home With Jimmie & His Folks - Those Videos Are PRECIOUS!! Stevie Was A SPECIAL Soul & A Special MAN....I Miss Him A LOT Still Today!! SOUL💞SOUL💗, Stevie!🙏😘
Stevie Is STILL Worth The Tears😥 - Bless Him!! He Is Still Loved & SO Missed!! I Hope He Can Feel It In Heaven! The Angels Waited SO Long...Then They Had Their Way...& Now Stevie Is One Of Them!🙏
I will Echo a previous comment that this video is so perfect and I love it so much!! That is the gentlest humblest man and it baffles me because he was better than everyone but didn't look down upon others it was just his parents brought him up so well. bless you big Jim and Martha
I know, it’s really incredible how sweet kind humble soft spoken a little bit shy seems so compassionate and grounded. I love Stevie Ray so much, ❤ he’s such a very special beautiful human. He will live on in my heart forever. Love you Stevie🌹🌹 You are so missed.😢
This man was the coolest real guy, I mean, he kept it real, and I was so proud of him getting clean and performing even better. He was the King of the blues. And a true icon.
It may sound strange, but scrolling through the comments section of these videos, whether Interview(s) or Music, it's like a "Grief Support Group" were all here for the same reason(s) reminiscing & expressing our love for a great musician, that has touched our lives in one way or another. It's all together a comfort. Just in knowing the type of "Human being" Stevie was, I honestly think; he would appreciate that. Apologies for the Essay.
Doesn't Sound Strange @ All! Stevie Was ALL About Reaching, Connecting With & Helping Other People - I Know He Would Love The Way He Is STILL Bringing Us Together Because Of Him! He Was The Sweetest Human On The Planet & Dearly Missed!
He was such a good man. So kind and forthcoming with being himself. Sober he was as real as it got, and so much more present and alive. Sweet we got all the footage for this to see.
This was beautiful! Stevie was the sweetest guy. He just made me realize that as Texans, we really do have something in our manner and style in common. His essence screams Texas and I love it. I’ve grown up my whole life seeing this quality in my relatives and it’s really neat to watch this. When you see a fellow Texan you definitely know it.
What I Loved Is That He Wasn't Too Fake Or "Proud" To Go Ahead & Just DO It! Stevie Never Took Himself Too Seriously & You Got Turned Off & Lost Interest! He Was A Very Genuine Person Blessed With Amazing Gifts & Talent , A HUGE Heart, A Love Of People & The Ability To Capture Our Hearts!!! I Miss You, Stevie!💞😘
I was so pissed off when i heard he passed away it was summer time hot and i just got off work pulled into my drive way. Just got his life turnd around .
@jemjean100 watching the interview with him & his brother, his hands do look bigger & more muscular compared to Jimmy's. For his size, they do look rather big. Just sayin.💁
Thank You For Saying It!! Stevie Would Definitely AGREE!! I Do Too!! And I Loved How CLOSE They Were - Stevie & Jimmie Adored Each Other! They Made Each Other Better...They Made Each Other More! Those INSANELY Talented OAK🎸CLIFF🎸BOYS!!💞💗💗💗 Thanks Big Jim & Mama V!!
He was such a beautiful talented humble funny soul he’s the only one who touched my heart and soul with his music rip Stevie you are loved and missed ❤
Sonia Benezra's hair is interviewing SRV pre Montreal LaRonde show. Musique Plus maybe a year old? back when the VJ were adults. missed his summer shows back in 86 and 87 - i was elsewhere. thanks.
When he mentioned howlin wolf it made sense, I can feel the influence wolf had on him. If you listen to smokestack lightning his playing has the same punchy quality that stevies had.
@@pabloperez4063 yes he could and even though I praise Jimi as one of the few guitar gods, I think Stevie took Jimi's music to a whole new level! Both Guitar Geniuses in my book.
I Heard Stevie & DT Often Before AND After Late 1986 When Everyone Went Into Rehab & 12-Step Recovery (Separately)...I GUARANTEE You - They Were ALREADY Amazing Kick-Ass-Good BEFORE - & When They Came Back To The Stage & The Studio - Now With Reese On Keyboards🙌🎹😁 - They Were SO Good - So Much Even BETTER They Just BLEW You Away!!! I Saw Them Just A Few Weeks Before The Crash - INDESCRIBABLE!!! You Could Definitely Hear The Difference! I KNOW How Good The Show @ Alpine Valley Must Have Been...& I Had Heard Jimmie (w/The TBirds), Clapton, & Robert Cray All Individually Before...Stevie Was Just On Fucking Fire🔥🔥🔥When I Saw Him Last (July 17, 1990) - The WHOLE Band Was - & I Had Heard Them For Years!! They Were ALL @ The TOP Of Their Game & Their Talent!! I Feel Bad For Anyone Who Didn't Hear Them Live! Cherished Memories! Thanks Tommy, Chris & Reese! I STILL MISS YOU To This Very Day, Stevie!! Keep Those Angels Dancin' To Your Hot Licks🎸 Up There!! God🙏Bless Ya!! SOUL💞SOUL💗😘
I know a stoner smile when I see one! Lol. Great interview 👍 . I hope one day to just be 2nd to SRV. I could never surpass his greatness with only 10 fingers. I need more fingers!!!

7:40 - "What about videos? You've got one out that's hysterically funny "Cold Shot" I mean I love it, did you get involved with the scenario of that? She is asking about the "Cold Shot" music video -- hope that helps, have a great day.
@Chris H check out a song called Jolene. cover of a dolly parton tune she did. you can make the obvious statement that what she's doing now isn't that artistically great, but don't mistake that for her not having talent.
