Stevie Ray Vaughan the greatest guitar player that ever walked on Texas Soil and song writer ..His masculine voice singing and playing guitar all over the world in his legendary short time while on this earth..blue's and Rock N Roll is so spectacular to our ears..and Stevie Ray Vaughan is here to stay and play his electric guitar he is so famous for doing..Never forgotten and strong in 2021..Rock on Stevie..your musical spirit is flooding the airways..
This video is only to prove, it ain't the canvas, it ain't the 24k gold paint, it is the one ( Stevie) that holds the brush. RIP. Love to all those whose kind replies are appreciated.
I Think He Started Doing That After Rehab....Nicotine Gum...??? Chewed It All The Time - Hope It Helped Him! He Was As Addicted To Cigs As Much As He Was Coke & Alcohol...But He Beat Em ALL!!! FUCKIN' A, STEVIE!! You Were A STRONG Man & You Are STILL SO Missed! Thank🙏God For YOU! Soul💞Soul!😘
RIP David Brown, I had only known you for a short time. It was an honor to share the stage with you brother. Now you are with SRV and all the other greats that have passed. Rock on!
Stevie Ray Vaughan never at a loss for the guitar to strum across 5he air waves to all his blue's and rockvn roll fans worldwide..the best guitar player that ever picked up an instrument called guitar with steings..A guitar legend for the blue's and rock n roll when he on stage..he gives us his best..terrific band..RIP Stevie..your sooo missed by all your fans
This video goes to show that guitar playing is all in the hands. Most people try to replicate Stevie's sound by using the same guitars, string gauges, and amplifiers that Stevie used but you cant replicate the original soulful SRV. He had the power in his guitar playing as Buddy Guy put it "he was like lightning".
It was in his large hands, anyone can bend notes, but Stevie could bend whole chords, even the slow parts are barely restrained attack... everyone has their day, but Stevie constantly channeled a typhoon.
@@Jesse-B no, the size of stevies hands didnt have anything to do with it and his hands probably weren't much bigger than most peoples, they were just incredibly strong with you can build the strength in your hands, and after 1985 he used 11-58 which is much more manageable than the 12s and 13s he was using earlier in his career
Good for this band to seize the opportunity of a lifetime instead of cowering and worrying about being embarassed. I'd love to know the situation because it seems as if Stevie was a surprise especially since he wasn't even playing on his own guitar. You know that Stevie praised these guys all night and probably gave them enough confidence to go and push their skills further.
Thanks for sharing. It IS really flooding down in Texas and Stevie Ray was ahead of his time when he wrote this song. He had no idea how prophetic this song really is. Also he would pray for the people who have that struggle on their hands. So everyone pray for Texas.
Stevie Ray Vaughan is who feeds that electric guitar and is the supplier of all the great sounds that flow from those strings that are strung and strummed again and again..If you don't know your guitar when Stevie gets ahold of you..you will by the time he sets you free..Stevis knows the blue's and rock like the two hands he plays guitar with..It comes easy to Stevie..He was born to strum a string on any guitar he comes in contact with..He will leave his Mark on it..guaranteed..RIP Stevie..your still a guitar legend and u made your mark...phenomenal
A legend..blue's and rock..Stevie Ray Vaughan played his strats like he did over his head and behind his back because he was a guitar genius and could go to different levels..so satisfying to the SOUL..Terrific band there on stage grueling out that rhythem and sound ..Stevie could positively entertain the world and he did..Professionally music inclined and was phenominal ....a guitar stringer and played on the biggest strings he could his fingers to string..RIP Stevie
Stevie dont care if the band can play or not..He has a strat and he can perform alone if need be..R u with me? Stevie Ray Vaughan the best on blue's ..got can award that saids so..and can play rock n roll..what a singer and song writer..so talented..a special gift in music..
Something about chewing a bulk of gum when your detoxing I believe..Stevie Ray Vaughan is sensational with or without gum..missing Stevie..always to be remembered..A sensational memory

Thank you Stevie Ray Vaughan for leaving your Mark with your new musicians at the present time..Stevie is best..Thank God for Stevie Ray Vaughan
Today is the day Stevie passed and BTW Stevie died 4 years to the day as his Father. Roy Bucannon died on this day as well and Otis Rush lived longer than SRV...The good truly die way to soon. They have the best bands in Heaven ....RIP
Oh yeah..bring it on..Stevie Ray Vaughan picken and a grinning...r u with me? What a phenominal guitar player and Singer..let's get an umbrella for Stevie..you with me..gonna make him play this out..dig this fabulous rhythem and sound...professionalism at its peak of perfection ..I call it
So cool. I used to have one of those pink paisley strats. It was Japanese, back in the day when Japanese Strats weren't highly regarded. Bought it in Hong Kong in 1988, same year as this was recorded. So I assume Stevie's also playing the Japanese reissue from that time, and not the original sixties US pink paisley Strat. Although I could be wrong cos I'm just guessing. Wish I still had that guitar, it raised a lot of eyebrows but I loved it :)
As usual Stevie was great, keyboards too loud by far but I'm sure after he passed it was a fond memory of playing with a true guitar master. I miss him every day almost 30 years since he passed. It will be a long long time before any one man will come along and put a stranglehold on the blues like Stevie.Or any music for that matter. His honesty was truly inspiring. Every open Mic I ever attended has one or more pickers trying to sound just like him,not me...he was and is too sacred for me to try his tunes and do a half assed job on them. I am honored to listen to his music and when he died,I must have cried for two weeks straight. I play guitar and always will but Stevie Ray was so much more than most guitarists, including me. R.I.P. old pal heaven has the best band ever !
Hey SRVMV I'm getting rid of my Stevie Ray collection I thought you would be interested to have it...let me know. My collection include 632 audio shows and 95 video shows.
Whoever that band is, I'm pretty sure they all feel dumb now watching just how much they embarrassed themselves. That keyboard guy must have been the lead singer because he sure was trying to show up svr with his "hey, look at me, I can play the keyboard". Must have been a local garage band.
Well, you have to realize SRV was a world-class talent. We get used to hearing the most gifted and forget that there are moderate talents out there. Stars are rare; SRV was a one-off.
"The first known live recording of him was in 1969, when he sat in with Marc Benno's band 'Jomo'." He's playing here with someone be played with first in a band! You know? For old-times sake. Nobody gotta be embarrassed.
