Stevie T: A Parents Worst Nightmare 

Stevie reminds me of that one kid from middle school that nobody would talk to, or hang out with, and maybe you feel a little bad for him so one day you sit by him at lunch but it only takes 5 minutes to understand why everybody avoids them.

She’s absolutely right the fact Steve got hella offended over her opinion of sweep picking and called him out on it HERSELF shows how much more integrity & maturity she has over Stevie T 😭 Being a grown ass adult and publicly shaming & bullying a minor is really sad and pathetic.

The contrast between your voice and Stevie T's is like night and day. I'm constantly riding the volume control from when your well spoken gentle voice ends to his icepick in the eardrum bellowing begins. Damn...

As someone who had been bullied for most of my early years, Stevie's behavior makes me so absurdly pissed off. Being on the receiveing end of this type of behavior was borderline traumatic for me, and i don't want to imagine what it would be like for someone like Richard Benson. It's absolutely deplorable

Its weird that people still consider metrics as a valid gauge of anything. Even as a kid I was smart enough to make my ages on all these sites 18, so you can watch whatever you want. And that was when the internet was still reasonably new, I imagine kids now have more of an understanding of it than we did at the time.

As much as I dislike Stevie’s bullying, think he’s a pansy grifter, and I agree being sponsored by an adult toy store is terrible form ethically, given his audience, I hate the FTC even more. Sicking the FTC on anyone is a Tipper Gore move. But notice that Stevie T picks on young girls and elderly people with mental handicaps, but he won’t touch someone like me who could slap him back.

His manager is full of shit - while it's true that kids don't PERSONALLY have money, it still absolutely benefits you to appeal to them... guess what... RAID shadow legends don't care who your audience is, if you're getting clicks, they're paying anywhere from $2000 - $10000 for an ad (speaking from experience, a friend of mine makes $4k for every raid ad). It's the same with any brand deal he takes on. Stevie sells product, sure. But his shirts and patreon and shit aren't where the money is for him (hell MY Patreon makes more than his!!!), he's making his money on youtube ads, and 3rd party ads - and when it comes to ads... it doesn't matter who they're served to. You just want the numbers... and kids make those numbers!

Jokes and memes aside, this is a big problem on YT that requires serious consequences. I hope YT doubles down on content creators that don't label their content as made for kids, which is fully possible to achieve algorithmically based not only on stats but also on many other parameters. History, engagement, conversion rates and everything they already track.

Except you are really wrong about a lot of things. First of all the fcc does not regulate in Canada. Second of all your statistics are wrong about the number of children, yt statistics, in general, can't be trusted. Second of all just because Stevie talks about child-related content doesn't mean he can't make mature content, this is why kids are supposed to use youtube kids which doesn't allow mature content, so Stevie t wouldn't be on there. It is up to the parents to know what their children are watching. Before clicking on the link to purchase adam and eve it is clearly labeled as 18+, to which Stevie also says in the video is for adults, in fact, you included that evidence yourself. There are many well-known large RU-vidrs that do this, it is not wrong. You are making it out as though steve is selling directly to children sex toys. RU-vidrs like Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and Pewdiepie all have played and interacted in child-related content, however, they are meant for mature viewers. In fact, they all have been sponsored by adam and eve, they also have all noted the fact that they know children watch their content, there's nothing they can do about it. That being said, just because children watch their content, that doesn't mean they should fully designate themselves as family-friendly. The fact you threaten Stevie with the fcc makes you look like a complete Karen, it's genuinely laughable. FCC doesn't not, I repeat does not regulate individuals in Canada, being where Stevie lives, given the fact you took the amount of time to find out statistics of what the age of current Spongebob viewers is, you think you'd be capable of googling where the FCC operates. Sure the FCC could file a report to Canada's FCC but at that point, it's a total waste of resources because it's a purely a nothing case you are making. It is clearly up to adults to give children access to unadulterated content, being the yt kids app. If parents are upset with what their children are watching, do not give them access to view it, simple as that. This video didn't even need to be made to understand how that works.

I got here by the unknown wonders of youtube algorithm and while the issue is serious the difference between this and typical videos feels like when the nice teacher loses his temper and in a stoic manner points out every possible thing wrong with the class nuisance student leaving everyone stunned. Made me feel as if I were back to school days.

The amount of children on here defending Stevie from "KDH's Hate" speaks to the validity of his claims. KDH has presented nearly 20 minutes of Stevie T's morally bankrupt (and illegal) nonsense here and yet the children still don't understand. Stevie's made millions with his questionable, sometimes criminal behavior. He may look and sound like someone who doesn't know any better, but Stevie's got the cash which speaks to the complete contrary. Stevie knows exactly what he's doing, and the cogs of justice may well turn.

This is a suggestion, but I think Stevie should try and construct a mindset where he can keep doing these types of videos, being the child friendly and mature audience oriented content (minus the "ripping on haters" videos, as they're just uncalled for), and not having to compromise between each target audience - if that makes sense. In short, as an example, he can possibly try and divide his audience between a separate channel and his current main one, meaning that he can make videos suitable for kids within the suitable RU-vid kids age range on a child friendly channel, and the usual content on his main, thus possibly making things a little easier and better for himself as well as everyone else. Sorry if that was a bit of a length-y, ranting paragraph, but it just looks better in typed words than me trying to physically speak my opinion. Lol. Again, great work, dude.

So let's go through all the wrong bullshit spouted in this trainwreck of a video. 1) Steve does not cater to a young audience. I've watched a handful of his most popular videos; none of which would remotely be considered as made for kids. Second, even if he was, RU-vid's machine learning would label the video as targeted toward children even if the creator didn't. Third, as someone who is well read on US law, the FTC's power to enforce fines via COPPA is absolutely toothless because the law is so incredibly vague as to what constitutes "intended" toward kids. Any attempt at a fine would immediately launch a direct legal challenge, and the FTC's ability to levy fines on creators would be severed from the law due to the vagueness doctrine. Notice how here we are sitting in 2022 and nobody gives a shit about this issue despite there still being tons of channels that would potentially fall into this grey area. 2) 11:31 Wow. A whole 15 comments; of which the most number of likes out of all of them is 6. That video currently has 16,752 comments on it; of which, none of the top comments are asking for him to remove the video, so you're a moron. Also, there is zero evidence that Benson has mental problems. The only thing known is that he has arthritis from an accident. His performance on that show that you describe as him "writhing on the ground" was part of an over-the-top shtick he would do when he was invited on. Guess you suck at looking things up. 3) Your entire better help argument is soundly refuted in LegalEagle's video which explains the difference between a basic disclaimer of liability which prevents them from taking on the legal liability of the contents of their service, and taking on the affirmative liability of vetting the credentials of their therapists. The original disclaimer gave no specifics on what their policy was about the vetting process; merely that their services are available "as is", and that the user of their services bears the risk of use, and that they are not liable for any damages that may result from the ordinary usage of their services. This is basic terms of service law which you are fundamentally ignorant of and should shut the fuck up about. 4) Him saying it's a shameless plug is not admission it is not a promotion. Any reasonable person (which is the standard by which such a question of fact would be decided) would conclude from an affiliate link being present that the content creator providing that affiliate link is being compensated. He's stating that it's not a shameless plug, not that it isn't a plug. You are grasping at straws to find character flaws by quibbling over his word usage here. His video is absolutely not violating advertising laws. 5) The girl's comment was a bland comment about how sweep picking isn't always needed and he made a harmless joke about how sweep picking should always be done and ironically sweep picked over her playing. He said nothing mean about her or her playing. Oh noes. Some random asshats posted mean comments on her channel. It's time to... disable comments? Wow. That was hard. 6) Yeah. He's not responding to all of your videos because you're all a bunch of humorless assholes that are trying to stir up youtube drama. His video was taking funny hate comments and "roasting" them for comedic effect. What comedy could Steve possibly get out of this trash video? None. In summary, you're a shit-tier TheGamerFromMars who does equally pathetic "expose's" on youtube channels. The only difference is that he at least picks decent targets and formulates somewhat valid arguments. You're stuck in 2008 RU-vid Land where you think the best way to grow a channel is to call out larger ones in the vain hope that you can start drama with them. It doesn't work and it's sad. The most recent comment sums up what I've said here and you in a nutshell: "what a Karen."

The disclaimer at the end of this video - "don't visit, harass stevie etc" was a stand up thing to do. It shows that this isn't about being petty and I can appreciate the mature way you're calling people out over their bullshit. You've brought up numerous, very valid points in these videos and presented them well. Excellent work, you're earning your subscribers the right way and I look forward to seeing this channel grow.
