This was my Mother’s favorite song. She claimed when she was at her lowest this song gave her hope. I lost Mom two years ago and every time I hear this song I think of her. Thanks for playing it.

I loved this song as a teen! Im so lucky my mom showed me artists like him growing up! One "Little Stevie" song of his, "Sunset", is so good! He has always been such a natural gift! His soul and talent really comes through and yet his tone you can tell is juvenile.

Stevie Wonder sings, and it’s always magical. BJ you are so right - Stevie’s universal.

Love Stevie Wonder. He is without a doubt a musical genius….songwriter, arranger, musician. And if that’s not enough he is a humanitarian and civil rights activist. He has so many great recordings and his words are so meaningful. His music is enjoyed by all cultures. He wrote a song for Aretha Franklin when he was 14. She recorded Till you Come Back To Me and had a nice hit with it. Thanks so much for reacting to the one and only Stevie Wonder. 👏👏❤️🇨🇦

Stevie Wonders version of "Blowing In the Wind" is a must listen to. I was a little kid, when it came out and it still is a favorite in my middle years. As a matter of fact, I didn't know it was a Bob Dillon song until my teens.

His "Stay Gold" song from The Outsiders Motion Picture Soundtrack is really good. I highly suggest that movie as well as Phantom Of The Opera (2004) with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum.

Some suggestions to take you past the sun and straight to Heaven and back....... The Obvious Child by Paul Simon. Great song (watch the official video which is unforgettable and will be of especial interest to people of African American descent as the extra musicians add a pulsating excitement) It is truly exhilarating. She’s A Mystery Girl by Roy Orbison. One of the truly great vocal performances of an excellent song written by Bono. Unbelievable singing and excellent lyrics. Across The Border by Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt singing to perfection a truly lovely Springsteen song. Heavenly. There is a video watched by 2.5M with nice pictures and the lyrics.

I remember this song at the ending of the movie rebound: the legend of earl manigault. It's a super tragic story but an amazing one. Don Cheadle was amazing in this movie. And to this day dudes like Kareem Abdul Jabar even gave him mad props

Unsung White songwriter Ron Miller (along with his partner Oliver Murden) provided Stevie with some great, meaningful material such as "Heaven Help Us All" and "Someday At Christmas" (men won't be boys, playing with bombs like kids play with toys), that I am sure provided the blueprint for the later universal message songs he would compose himself that led to his being awarded with as many as 25 Grammy awards. His "Living For The City" and "Pasttime Paradise" (which inspired "Gangster's Paradise" by Coolio) alone are so pictureque that it is hard to believe they were written by a man who never got a look at the world with his own eyes! And you should hear him perform "A Place in the Sun" live in both English and Italian from around the time of this release! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o7dHEB27Rfc.html. I am glad you are going through this era as it was common for a song to have a positive message that came out at that time though, Stevie and The Temptations were at the top of the class in that department!
