Wonderful rendition of the song. It's almost like someone was trying to keep this away from me from all these years and I'm 52 now. You learn something every day they say.
I dedicate this wonderful song to all of the good people who struggle to get to the truth, and justice. Right now I am thinking of justice for all affected by Grenfell. X
I always attach it to nuclear disarmament and either refusing to live under fear of nuclear war, or imagining how, if it happened, a temporary survivor mourning our once beautiful planet poisoned by fallout being blown in the wind. "How many times must the cannonballs fly, before they're forever banned? How many deaths till we know that too many have died? The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind. The answer is blowing in the wind"
Amazing that Stevie sung this at 15 years of age, so soulfully beautiful. This version, he walks through some of the biggest issues the 60's, 70's, 80's and the 90's. Oh, and now we are 2 1/2 decades through the New Millennium. Still so many problems to solve, but, so many beautiful people out there. Love, Peace and Happiness to you all. Keep on Singin' Stevie.
One of my mums many favorites Stevie wonder CHOONS. 🙏🏾❤️. Still we wonder and ask so many questions things that we don’t understand 🤔😢but the answer is blowing in the wind.👍🏾.
This version was sung during Bob Dylans's 30th anniversary tribute concert by Stevie Wonder. Great cover by Stevie, but i do like Sam Cooke's cover as well
What's the point of comparing them? They're different versions, both great. God why do people have to keep score for fuck sake? Do you think Stevie compares his version to Bob's, or vice versa? Also, Bob wrote the song.
