I know what you mean. I've been listening to him for so long, I remember when he was called "Little Stevie Wonder" and that was in the 1960's! Rock on Stevie!!!!
I absolutely love Stevie Wonder, his music 🎶 feed's my soul, and he is one of my heroes,as I know what it's like to be blind, I have been blind in my left eye and partially sighted in my right eye for almost 24 years, I have to use a white cane with a ball on the end, but Stevie's music and lyrics always hit the right spot when I'm anxious, panic attacks etc❤ Thank you for your magical talent Stevie I love you to the moon and back again 👍🏻👌 absolutely Class 👌
I’m Italian, nearly 70, and I truly gelive that this is one if the best live songs ever delivered in the public domain. Don’t look at Aretha and Stevie but the band and backing singers. They are full of joy and pride!!
Dedicating this song to my beautiful wife in hospital. This is one of the songs I played for her over 20 years ago. Babe, your not going anywhere except home with all of us. Love you Blondie 😍 💗 💓 💛 ♥️
I was 14 when I fell in love with Stevie through this song. Today, at 69, I still love him, his integrity, his world views, his love he brings to all. ❤🎉
This song, it really helps ya in moments when you feel completely worthless. It just reminds ya, you have a purpose, someone loves ya, someone needs ya. I like that. Thanks Stevie Wonder.
Because a massive amount of folks are still visiting this video - which is one of the six mosogotam tracks with more than 5M (5000) views - and the fact that there have been no new videos uploaded in four years, this is a courtesy post to let you know that the owner of this channel, mosogotam, whose real name is John Perrone, sadly passed away from COVID-19 on April 5th, 2020 - tragically, he was one of the very early victims of the virus. John was an absolute creative genius for this and all the other wonderful tracks he created! While his death at 70 is a tragedy and we won't get any new productions from him, he still managed to leave us with a goldmine of material to enjoy for years to come - what a gift! John, may you rest in peace.
when you think about this young, black, very talented blind guy, singing with such strength and sincerity his joy to the world, a true explosion of sunlight back in the 60s...it is certainly one of the most beautiful and moving thing that has ever happened in music
Oh wow, goosebumps!! Even though this was the midst of the Civil Rights Movement, this was when America was AMERICA, and African Americans had so much to look forward to……
He shall always be my Favorite!!! My dream in life was to one day tell Stevie how his music pulled a young girl out of her depression! I am crying real tears as I think of all I went through, yet listening to his music saved me. Thank you GOD!!! GOD WAS SHOWING OFF,WHEN HE MADE STEVIE WONDER!!!!💎 Tears, Cassondra 💐💋💌😘
He sang such uplifting songs. My friend met him on a airplane and said he was very friendly and humble and talked to her a few minutes while waiting to board the plane.
God, why cant music be like in those days... and im 35 years old. I been listening to this greatest music since i was 12 years old. Greetings from Puerto Vallarta.
this song is not only the definition of a musical masterpiece but also one of the strongest declarations of unconditional love.... I'm in tears every time (and i really mean it) i hear this Thank you Mr Stevie Wonder for this extraordinary work of art
Was born in the fifties and around when this was popular my parents asked me what my favorite song at the time was I said this song was. I am now sitting in my living room listening to this almost sixty years ago that’s length.
Right off wikipedia: " 'For Once in My Life' is a swing song written by Ron Miller and Orlando Murden for Motown Records' Stein & Van Stock publishing company, ..."
When I looked into each of my children's eyes for the first time. Love that I've never felt. Love that makes my heart truly yearn for more love. At 23 yrs old I finally felt it.
There will never, ever be another Stevie Wonder, a proud baby boomer, feel so blessed that I got to experience this, about 8 or 9 when this dropped, Motown, Stax, Philadelphia International, Atlantic some of the greatest record labels of all time, if you weren't around to experience it, truly amazing and will never, ever be duplicated...
I'm not a baby boomer and not an American.....but Stevie is amazing. An artist who can branch across many generations and cultures. Thanks to my mother who introduced me to this amazing musician. One of the many amazing artist I grew up with because of her..... thanks mum.....rest in peace .
I just took my seizure meds and this song hit me out of nowhere in the face. I took my phone to my wife and played it for her. Amazing work no question to that.
He was disabled but he is a champion. He makes great music. At my future wedding i want this song. Hopefully. For once in my life i want to say it too.
a song for when you're stuck in Brisbane with your wife in Melbourne.. and for once in your life you have someone who needs me.... and your heart breaks....
So many singers today are just grand-standing, blowing themselves up. Stevie Wonder just plain loved music and all the musicians and dancers around him shared it. That's why it's so great to hear it! Thanks!!
Whoa! I sang this song after my son, who passed in 2013, was born and then I sang it to my daughter. Little did I know that it would be us three in a few years. Thank you!
The Funk Brothers were a bunch of session musicians hired by Motown Records to provide their signature sound..This is one of their greatest works..James Jamerson is one of the greatest bass players whoever held the instrument. Stevie didn't have a chance to show how truly gifted he was until he got older and creating his own signature sound. The harmonica sang by itself. Classic recording.
@@octaviajohnson6989 judging by your comment I would imagine you would love to watch a brilliant documentary called 12 feet from the front. It's all about the best backing singers who never got recognition they deserved .check it out .
The reason to dislike is because this song made them emotional because it was in Shrek 4 and was a sad ending to a great franchise but still a good song
If only Stevie was our POTUS, what a wonderful world this would be, between his musical genius, his never ending love for humanity and his monumental understanding of human nature... wow. Regardless, how fortunate we are to bask in his glory, may he forever shine on!
Stevies songs has kept me smiling for 62 years ! What would life be without Music , I never wanna find out ! Stevie Wonder one of the many sound tracks of my life ! Thank You Stevie ......

The Kingdom! ... of! ... the musical! ... King! ... and Genius! ... Stevie! ... Wonder! ... ahs come to Planet Earth! ... and the Universe! ... for this we are grateful! ... Dale Ellis Robins Poet/Songwriter
It's quite amamzing that for all his brilliant songs his oly 2 UK No 1 singles are the equaly dreary Ebony & Ivory and I Just Called....and never a UK No1 album....incredible......what a singer/songwriter......
this is a part of my brother's mixtape I am playing him over Zoom. They just removed him from a respirator and we are leaving it to God. I have to tell you - he is actually GROOVING to the music. thank you so much for this extended version!
