There used to be another Dr Who museum in mid wales. Went on my birthday and it was closed down. Looked through the window and all that was left was a Babylon 5 VHS on the floor.
Or in a months time with postcard sized picture superimposed on a screen showing slow motion CGI ocean waves, with mutilated x0.5 audio. yeah, think I'll wait.
I feel pretty lucky that for some reason I found out when it was going to be broadcast. That's not me being snide, I just some how found out it was going to be on TV, and managed not to forget it was happening. Told my partner 'There's something I want to watch, you won't really like it, so I'll watch it upstairs'. It was like going to see the football.
2 minutes and 49 seconds of nothing but Stewart Lee. I came here expecting 5 hours of Michael McIntyre. What the hell is wrong with the world these days?!
Haha my parents went on holiday went on holiday to Turkey and complained about the poor standard of English spoken by some of the people they encountered!
The number of times I've been through Bromyard and I never even knew there was a Doctor Who museum there! I sense a cheap Christmas pressie for the wife this year. Tickets... :-)
I like the fact that it was in the cellar! Cellars, make houses appear bigger when you're on the inside, than when you look at them from the outside! I don't watch, Dr Who. But I would, if Stewart was in it! He could play, God!! He'd perfectly balance out, the Dr's character!!
I just found an old brochure for the Doctor Who Museum in a box of papers and I noticed it said this: DISABLED ACCESS NOTICE. The museum is unfortunately not handicap accessible. Please phone for more details on access. So now I'm wondering how the hell did the Daleks get in then?
2 stars ** This stand up had little appeal. I expected less of a doctor who basis to this Dr Who stand-up excerpt. Would have preferred more of a focus on Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Disappointed
I went to that museum last year hoping to see the solid gold burial mask of Tutankhamun only to find it's not there. No signs informing you of this. 32.46 miles I travelled for nothing. Tossers.
Oh Stewart Wee does his comedy to the comedy audience and they all laugh... is this what comedy has become... making people laugh...I'm glad we have a brexit maybe comedy will be like the old days and every Comedian put there hand in a barrel and picked there Sexist joke that everyone knew and did it on stage and the working men's club would clap.. the good old days.... i like Doctor who too.
Limited appeal. There is nothing in this video for those wanting a lecture on the 3rd century religious practices of north scotland Picts so i may have to give it a dislike but i will watch a few more times to see if i missed any ancient Celt content or at least a joke about longbarrows would be enough.
Love all the Stewart Lee clips on youtube: watching them in a different order you can make your own comedy set. Because of the constancy of his whinging ultra left wing sensibility, you hardly notice the transitions!
