Really enjoying your videos. I am a retired Shift Manager/licensed Senior Reactor Operator in a nuclear power plant. Your explanations of various systems, and the complexity (or simplicity) of various system designs is great.The average passenger does not care for what goes into their flight, but only are concerned about what they will get to eat or what the movies are on the planes. I, on the other hand, devour each of your videos. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much Mark and I 100% agree with how you see aircraft, I do the same thing. We can all agree that aircraft are beautiful but in my mind, it extends beyond the aesthetics, in my mind it transcends into the engineering aspect and how it work. Why it work and how I fix it. When I say “marvel of Engineering” I mean exactly that. Absolutely incredible

@StigAviation
@StigAviation 4 месяца назад
@@AlexM2299 Michelin is not the only tire manufacturer that has aircraft tires, Goodyear and Bridgestone also make aircraft tires. It just depends on which aircraft it’s used on. Majority of airbus tires use Michelin, the 737 likes to use Goodyear, 787 likes to use Bridgestone.

Looks a lot easier than my graveyard shift at SFO, for TWA, back in the 60s and 70s ! I did many check "Cs", engine changes, gear seals, major hyd repairs, flight control rigging, and airframe "Air worthy" repairs. My Dad was a captain, Mom and sister were both "Hostesses". It was a good job until politics destroyed a great airline and I took early retirement. Things have sure changed

Things have not changed at all my friend, they’re all the same. The only thing different here is that I am not on Night Shift, I am a line maintenance technician, I work live aircraft. My days in hanger and Night Shift are done because I have enough seniority to get off graveyard shift.

That galley drain trick works like a charm. Sometimes moving the plunger rapidly helps unclog the coffee grounds. Still amazes me how our FA's put that stuff down the drains.

I work at the ramp at a small airport in Uruguay. I really enjoy my work (most of the times) and so do my partners, and fun and passion makes everything better! Aviation is the only place I've seen sooo much people working in the same building really sharing the passion for what they do, and your videos show exactly how I feel about my job, it's marvellous and beautiful. Keep it up man, much respect!

For one so young, your wisdom shines. Do what makes you happy, enjoy your job and make it a discipline in which you desire to be and ascribe to figuring things out in not only a formal theoretical manner but in a practical form as so many differnet things can happen. You sir, are a fine example of a superb human being. Reminds me of the days doing maintenance on army trucks. I loved reading the manual and doing it right, most folks in my unit could’ve cared less about doing it right. But trust me, my vehicle would be up to standard and always ready to go if needed. I would’ve spent more time on all of them to give them all the right loving. Miss it a whole bunch, glad you’re having hella fun doing it and treating it with such calm and ease. Take care brother
