I hope you enjoy seeing this awesome New Addition to my Collection. :-) I would highly recommend this one to those like me, those that absolutely luv Collecting Folding Stilettos! Peace, Stiletto :-)

Yes, I am digging it. Out of all the Ti-Lite Blade Styles, this is the one that "Cuts" and "Slashes" the best. And, that makes it the one for those that want more "Utility" out of the Ti-Lite's. Besides, it's different, yes. But, it's a good difference. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

I love Ti Lites! Awesome video and comparisons thanks for the video. I sold all my Italian stilettos and miss them but I actually prefer the Ti Lite because of the better quality steel of the blades

Absolutely agree! I absolutely, still, luv my first Folding Stilettos. But, like you, if I am to carry a Folding Stiletto, it's going to be one of my Ti-Lite VI Folders, for the reasons you mentioned. But, I still like Collecting the Italians, too. But, I don't use or carry them. Right on! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Right on uddo! Yes, the Tri-Ad is King with me, too... The Ti-Lite's pre-date the Tri-Ad and Andrew Demko's Cold Steel Career. This is a Phil Boguszewski Design. He is a Famous Custom Knife Designer and Maker. He's passed away, now. But, the Ti-Lite's are pretty much Plain Jane versions of Phil Boguszewski's famous Custom Folding Stilettos. Most do not know of him and his Custom Knives. I should've mentioned him in my Video. His Custom Stilettos go for thousands of dollars. Here's a link to so e of his Work: www.arizonacustomknives.com/knives-by-maker/boguszewski-phil/ :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@Kris_Stiletto i didn't know about him either..this phil guy..but i learned about him now..i like blades a bit wider too..i actually grew up with this switch blade stilettos..we could all have them when we were kids..mostly we hat very cheap ones..but i remember to have better ones too..today they are still legal..i guess..but not legal to carry them..i was allowed to carry them in the age of 15 years old..but not now in 65 yeas of age..stupid world today..but i have no stilettos no more..only my counter points and i love them..greetings..uddo

In my opinion, uddo, the Cold Steel Counter Point Series, that was designed by Andrew Demko and Lynn C. Thompson, was based on the Italian Folding Stiletto... I know they claim it's a Boot Knife Design... But, all you have to do is set it next to an Italian Folding Stiletto and the similarities are overwhelming and undeniable, in my opinion... I think of my my Counter Points as Italian Folding Stilettos on "Steroids!" Right on Bro! The Counter Points absolutely "ROCK," too... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

@@Kris_Stiletto yes..my counter point large looks to me like a pocket sword..and by removing the thumb stud..i must be legal to carry here..and like i said..the tri ad lock has my full trust..it's no knife for the open and close game..but it can do even heavy bushcraft tasks for me..greetings..uddo

Yes, the Counter Points are much more useful for various chores and for survival. The Ti-Lite's are Comando or Assassins Folders; they're designed to be able to stab through thick clothing. Folding Stilettos were definately designed to take your Enemy's out... They're definately not Utility Knives... Absolutely agree uddo. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Cool collection. I should buy a black g10 version and swap out blades to the clip point. My first official knife I ever bought was the zytel Ti Lite in 2008, a Cold Steel Ti Lite will always have a place of my collection.
@Kris_Stiletto
@Kris_Stiletto 2 месяца назад
Exactly! Now, you sound like me, swapping parts. :-) I like to make mine the way I want them. So, with a lot of the Old, Original, Cold Steel Models, I know, from experience, you can do that, very easily, without any issues. I haven't done it. But, when my next Lynn C. Thompson Ti-Lite VI Bowie gets here, next week, that would make a great Ti-Lite VI Mod Video... Hmmm... And, I will give you credit for giving me this idea... Why I want to wait until my next one arrives? I'm getting two, because I want to put one into my Mega Folder Rotation Drawer; it will be the one I received with the highest number. :-) That's the one that won't be a Collector; it's going to get used. :-) So, that one can be modified. So, stay tuned, I'll let you know if the New One's can swap parts with the Old, Original, One's... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

The new signature series is the only one I don't have but $315 Canadian is kind of ridiculous.

Yes, I totally agree. Can you order from the States? The price does seem to be coming down... But, I don't like overpaying for items, too... And, usually, when Cold Steel items are overpriced, if you wait a little while (6 months or so), they often lower the prices. That's what I do. I have seen this happen over and over again. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Now, that's weird. They aren't against the Law, but you cannot have them shipped to you from another Country... Wow! And, I'll bet they overcharge for items like this on your economy, too... This sounds like it benefits the Stores and Retailers that are allowed to sell these items in your Country... If that's the case, then the shipping rules really suck! It sounds like the Retailers put that rule on place so they could increase their profits... I don't know... But, that's what it sounds like. I have heard similar things from other's in other Countries, also... Sorry to hear that... :-( Peace, Stiletto :-)

Ditto. Serial number of the low 500 range too! It sure is an impressive chunk of S35VN and G10, with the blade looking like a really mean balisong one. However, I'm a bit disappointed overall. The knife same with some side to side blade play and by the time I eliminated it completely (by tightening the pivot screw), it became a lot more difficult to open and close, kind of unreasonably so. Also, the washers feel like plastic. They really should've upgraded them to phosphor bronze on this signature model. No premium knife should have an action this stiff these days. That's not my biggest issue with this knife though. I like to weak hand (left) carry "tactical blades". This knife doesn't have a lefty clip mounting position. Ideally, it should be like Benchmade SOCP Folder - left/right tip up/down carry positions. Also, it's kind of a bitch to open reliably one-handed. Both the thumb stud and the "front flipper" really dig into my thumbs. It blows my mind that they didn't just stick a SOCP Folder style thumb disk of this thing, which would have mostly eliminated the need for that scale cutout, made thumb deployment ambidextrous and allowed you to easily kick the blade out in reverse grip. I'd love to be able to carry thing thing as my weak side backup "defense tool" and keep hoping to for it to break in and become more practical, as well as experimenting with carrying it in the left pocket with the blade towards my junk and opening it using a wrist whipping alone. Well, I suppose that this model is for people like the OP... people who already love the the Ti Lite and don't want any significant changes made to it. Still a cool knife.

Both of mine function perfectly. But, due to the weight and size and not having perfect balance does make it a little awkward to manipulate quickly in your hands, for me... But, I can teach myself to work around that. I haven't done any adjustments to mine; they function perfectly. Though I feel the Handle could be made to be more comfortable in hand when using... My hand grips over the Atlas-Lock in the forward grip and can be a little uncomfortable, to me. But, that probably assist the Atlas-Lock in staying engaged and not coming undone... Overall, I think the Mayhem is a very fun Cold Steel Mega Folder. But, I wouldn't want to make it even faster opening and closing with Custom Bearings. A Blade this big and heavy, I think, could be dangerous to the User if the Blade accidentally hit their digits. So, this one, like the XL Espada, Rajah II, and 5-Max needs to be treated with respect. Why? This one could seriously hurt somebody who doesn't treat it with respect... Myself, I am glad GSM, Cold Steel made the Mayhem. It's not one I would choose for SDUEDC. But, it is one that's fun to own and Handle and just admire. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Dam... They sold out before I could pick the one I wanted. I put it in my cart, the Green G-10, Non-Slotted, Magnacut Harpoon Model in my cart and went to checkout and a notice popped up stating that the item that I placed in my cart is out of stock... Wow! That was so fast it made my head spin. They were gone in a minute. I was there on time. I'll bet one person, an eBay Seller, bought the entire inventory. That's the only way I can see them selling out so fast. This has been my experience since these arrived on the Scene... These are just too popular and they never make enough of them. So, they're super hard to get at Retail Prices... The hunt for a New AD20 at Retail Price continues... Thanks for your help. If you hear of another drop, please, let me know... Again, thank you Bro! :-) Peace :-) Stiletto :-)
